What I found in Dallas....

was in Dallas last week for a trade show, ran into FWPoke's wife while there....but anyways in our hotel (Wyndham-Anatole) was a guide book for Dallas and I got all excited when I saw a picture of V-mo diving over Ole Miss, only to be upset when I read the caption.... (hopefully the image shows up)

It's sad that the Texicans are so embarrassed by the annual ass-whoopin' that they won't even print a picture of the shorthorns anymore. But it really pisses me off when they don't know the difference between us and the dirtburglars. It's real simple - WE wear Orange, THEY come from Hell.

having lived in Dallas for about 15 months now, I have gotten used to the following conversations:

"Where did you go to school?
- Okalhoma State
Oh a sooner huh?
- No Oklahoma State, we are the Cowboys.
Oh the other school in Oklahoma
- yes the other college"

or

"so your from Oklahoma?
- no I just went to school there, I'm from Kansas. I went to OSU.
Oh well you guys have a good football team.
- yeah we are getting better, but still got a ways to go...
Yeah that USC game didn't go too well.
- Oh I didn't go to OU I went to OSU, the Cowboys in Stillwater.
*puzzled look* So you don't cheer for the sooners?
- no I hate then as much as Longhorn fans"

what really makes me mad is when they think OU Football and OSU basketball (both good programs) are at the same school, usually OU
