I was driving into work this morning, and I could swear I heard Chris Plank say that there would be a press conference at 2:00 today at gooner u. It would detail whether Dvoracek is still a gooner. I guess something happened last weekend and he's been stripped of his captaincy and his future as a player is at stake. I've asked some of my gooner buddies and they have no idea what I'm talking about, so if something did happen then the gooners have done a great job keeping it under wraps.
If this story isn't true I humbly apologize to Dvoracek, but this would be a huge blow to their team. Lord, I hope I'm not spreading internet gossip, but if anyone has any info, or knows anything please reply back.

There is a story in today's DOK but it has not much more info than what you heard on the radio.

There is RUMOR and i repeat RUMOR of Dusty getting in a fight. I don't know the details nor do many on the internet. I've heard some rumors on this go as far as saying that he actually put someone in a coma in the fight. THey are wild rumors right now and i guess we'll see if they're true at 2pm.

Here's the story, and since this is Sooner related, I am moving it to the Bedlam Board.

Sources: Dvoracek in altercation
By George Schroeder
The Oklahoman
NORMAN - Multiple sources said Oklahoma defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek was involved in an altercation last weekend that could impact his future as a Sooner.
OU coach Bob Stoops was unavailable for comment. Details were sketchy, but OU associate athletic director for media relations Kenny Mossman said Wednesday that Stoops was looking into the situation.
"Bob is definitely aware of it, and he's in the process of learning as much about it as he can," Mossman said.
No arrests have been made, and no charges have been filed. Norman police spokeswoman Jennifer Newell and Cleveland County district attorney Tim Kuykendall said they were unaware of any incident.
Dvoracek, an vocal senior who was elected captain last month by his teammates, has practiced this week and conducted interviews with reporters on Monday.
But several sources said the altercation was the topic in a team meeting this week. They indicated Dvoracek may have been stripped of his captaincy. And they said a suspension could be imminent.
Dvoracek was a consensus All-Big 12 selection last season, when he had seven sacks. Through two games this season, he has five tackles, including a tackle for loss. He has recovered a fumble, broken up a pass and been credited with one "quarterback hurry."

He's a great player, but he's also rather obnoxious. Prediction -- another incident to be "handled internally".
