What else is new?
Biden is a major league joke. I think you can expect one of these goofy statements from him at least once a week for the next 4 years.
If he had been a student at OSU when he was caught plagarizing (as he did in the 1988 election), he would have been expelled.
He's a cheat and a joke, and the sad thing is the people of Delaware kept sending him back to the Senate... over and over again. They sure are a smart lot back on the east coast!
And now he's just a heartbeat away...
Give me Dan Quayle anyday!

Avoid air travel to Mexico and other confined spaces.
Why is that bad advice right now?
Heck, I think avoiding any travel to Mexico right now would be a good idea.

Don't get on any subways either.... Oh yea, dont' forget to panic!
If it was such sound advice, why was the White House so quick to offer up an explanation? One of them is wrong wouldn't you say?

Ol half-truth Mcal! Did you read all of the quote or what?
You don't see the problem with him telling the public to avoid subways? What would you say if that contradicted what Obama has said?

Matt Lauer's question dealt specifically with Mexico. Biden said he wouldn't recommend any air travel at this time.
I'm not so sure that, if it can be avoided, not confining yourself in a small space with several hundred other people isn't such a bad idea right now.

Taking precautions isn't panic. If being in a confined space with lots of other people can be avoided, that's a precaution, not panic.
I don't know if either is wrong. The president was a bit less cautious last night. I don't think Obama ever imagined Biden would agree with everything he said.

i actually agree with what you are saying. i am not getting on a plane or anything any time soon. in fact, i am getting some tamiflu for me and my wife and kids.
the point is he knew the white house's stand on the issue and he should have said what they wanted him to say. that is why they released some damage control.

...I don't think Obama ever imagined Biden would agree with everything he said. Oh buddy, this is a gem. Hell, Biden has been almost quarantined from the press for the first 100 days.
Any bets on when we'll see him in front of a mike again?

There, I saved the leftinites the trouble of posting. The difference is that this time their official positions are switched. Now we have a bumbling fool who can't keep from saying something stupid as the Vice President and a cold, calculating Antichrist for President. :D
