Not sure if many people knew but the Yard Dawgz are loading up with a ton of former OSU talent, Je'ray Chatham signed today joining

Martel Van Zant
Tonga Tea
Scott Broughton

plus they have signed a ton of other local talent such as

Former OU quarterback Tommy Grady
Antwon Savage
Steven Coleman
Brett Bowers
Al Hunt (Northwestern Oklahoma State)
Craig Fulton (Northeastern Oklahoma State)
Danny Howard (Southwestern Oklahoma State)

also the Yard Dawgz joined a new league the Arena Football One, which is now the premier arena football league in the nation. The league has just settled on buying the AFL's assests with that former AFL teams could be joining the league.

I'm from Alva and had the pleasure of watching Al Hunt play college ball (also got to watch Patrick Crayton make everyone look silly a couple years afterward). That '99 NAIA national championship year the Rangers had was phenomenal. Road tripped to Savannah, Tennessee to watch the championship, and it was a heck of a game.

He played quarterback and also punted, but I believe he is playing WR or DB for the Dawgz.

Great to hear. He helped do some assistant coaching for Alva's high school team a couple years ago . . . . .from what I hear the DBs had to cover him in practice--good experience if you ask me!
