The AFC Wild-Card Race is CRAZY this year. One crazy thing is that the playoff pictures I've seen don't seem to agree. The most consistent one I've seen is that the Broncos and the Jets are in with a win. However, I've also seen pictures on ESPN (that contradict with their website) showing that the Ravens will be in with a win? Anyone seen a good summary of the whole situation and what each team needs to be in? I'm a Broncos fan, but honestly, I'm not expecting much. With three straight losses, even if they beat KC and make the playoffs I think they'll lose in the first round against the Bengals or Pats. They just don't seem to have the winning killer instinct this year. However, with their new coach I believe that will come.

I get the sense this year the AFC (and in some ways the NFC) picture is still very much in doubt because of how close so many teams are.

It is mind-boggling how many teams are in the hunt and how open the seeds are in the NFC. I thought I heard someone say on ESPN radio that Dallas was going to play Philly regardless of who wins on Sunday earlier in the week, but yesterday I read an article saying there was no way Dallas would play Philly in the first round.
