I've been an avid OSU fan since about 1999. I grew up in a small town in southeastern OK. I'm not a lifer like most Pokes I know, but at least I grew enough since not to follow in my brother's footsteps to OU. He hated it there. I absolutely loved every bit of my four years at OSU. I studied Fire Protection and was one of only 11 women out of 220 fire protection students (Fr to Sr). I lived in Chicago (7 years) and just move to downtown Dallas, which unfortunately is rumored to be in Texas. I still have to teach my husband why this is a bad thing. He's a "yankee" from Cleveland, but by no means is he a NY Yankee fan. At least by being a Cleveland he knows what it is like to get close to winning something.Interact
