1977 OSU grad with a degree in Accounting. Member of the OSU Cowboy Marching Band for 4 years and Drum Major for 2 years. Lived mainly in Houston for years and worked in the oil industry. Served as an industry exert in two federal trials. Former member of the New York Mercantile Exchange Refined Products Committee and drafted many of the delivery procedures for the Unleaded Gasoline contract (since replaced by RBOB).

Opted out of the energy business after 9/11. Now the Operations Coordinator for Bryan Independent School District.

Married to Gail Peterson, a 1978 graduated with a degree in Agronomy. After staying home with our children, she is now an Instructional Coach for math and science at Bryan ISD.

Six kids, all grown. Active in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, youth sports, and church. Three are OSU grads, one was a member of the OSU Cowboy Marching Band.
