How does A&M get to host and we don't, we just beat them 2 out of 3 in A&M? I know our RPI isn't great but we just beat a supposed #1 seed 2 out of 3 on the road.

RPI and Strength of Schedule. The same reason OU is a #2 seed at Fayetteville.

That's BS! A&M and OU are way overrated. Its time we got some respect! I guess after we win the Texas series we will. I mean we are almost in the top ten for crying out loud!

Our strength of schedule will take care of itself...plus, we get to play most of the teams in our region in contention for a regional (OU, WSU, MU).

It may be their stadium vs APR. Doesn't their stadium hold many more people?

Winning this weekend's series against Texas and sweeping OU the next weekend will get us our regional.

This is like Lunardi's bracketology. It won't really start to resemble the real thing for a few more weeks, when we start getting closer to selection time. It is just a what if the season ended today projection.

We are ranked in the top 15 in all of the major polls, but our RPI doesn't match that yet. As long as we keep winning, we will be in the mix to host a regional.

Just doing a little research this morning, I looked up OSU and A&M records against teams in this projection.

OSU vs. #1 seeds Pepperdine (1-1), A&M (2-1) with games left against Texas(3) and Wichita St(1).

OSU vs. #2 seeds Nebraska (1-2) with games left against uo(3) and Missouri(3).

OSU vs #3 seed KSU (2-1) with a game left against ORU(1).

    A&M vs #1 seeds Rice(2-0), Arizona St.(0-1) with Texas(3) left.

A&M vs #2 seeds Oregon St.(1-1), OSU (1-2), Nebraska (2-1), Missouri (2-1) and uo (1-2). No games vs. 2 seeds left.

    A&M vs #3 seeds. None played, 3 left @KSU

    A&M vs. #4 seeds Jacksonville St.(3-0), Texas St.(1-0), TCU(1-0) with none left.

OSU vs projection teams is 3-3 on the road, 3-2 at home. The Cowboys have 7 games left at home, 1 on the road, and 1 neutral site game left.

A&M is 8-4 at home, 4-3 on the road, and 2-1 at neutral sites with 5 games left on the road and 1 at home.

All we have to do is continue winning. If we do that, everything will take care of itself. We already took 2 of 3 from A&M. We need to take at least 2 of 3 from Texas. Sweep the Goons and continue to win at least 2 of 3 from every Big 12 series. They cannot deny us a regional regardless of what the "pundits" think. When the season is over they'll have to make decisions based on results!
