I know this seems stupid but they scare me a little bit. We are set up nicely in the Big 12 right now and I just don't want to see us look past someone that is much improved.

    I completely agree. I wouldn't say I'm scared I'm just nervous.

You shouldn't be. You should be confident. We have the better team and we have them at home. No win is a sure thing, but we can beat anyone if we play lights out.

I don't think that we have to worry about this team overlooking Baylor. If the opponent was ISU, I would be more scared, but with Gundy's history with Baylor, I don't think he'll ever allow one of his teams to overlook them.

Here is why I think we do worry about Baylor...

    1. They scored more points against OU this year than they have in each of the last ten years.

    2. BU beat Iowa St. - Iowa St. nearly upset kansas - Iowa St. must have just rolled over and died in the BU game or BU is better than we think.

    3. BU is probably more of a team than A&M meaning that they play better as a whole.

It is homecoming but Knowing how our homecomings have gone the last 3 or 4 years...I would say watch it POKES!..

GO POKES BEAT THE HECK OUT OF A&M.

If we don't bring our A game on both sides of the ball, I could see this game being similar to the Houston game.

All signs point to this being a complete blowout. Our secondary and defense handled Missou pretty well, which means they should slaughter Baylor. We'll probably have our second string in by the fourth quarter again. Their defense is terrible, and I see us bringing out and showcasing our running game again.

The only thing to worry about is the mindset of our players. But after the win this weekend, I've got no doubt Gundy will be able to keep his players in the right mindset.

We just have way to much talent at each position and all they have is a good young QB. We just can't let one player beat us.

Their Defense was absolutely horrible against OU. I don't quite think ther CB's showed up for that game.

I believe that BU scored 30 points in Norman in 2005, The Same year they beat us in Waco

And a good stable of RBs and a solid receiving core. Iowa State said the same things that you guys are saying last week. I'm not saying we'll win, but we're better than most of y'all have given us credit for. Look who we've lost to. Wake Forest, who's leading the ACC right now, UConn, who won the Big East last year, and OU. I don't think a lot of you have seen much film of our team. Again, not saying we'll win, but don't be so quick to condemn us as a bad team. We'd be competing for a conference title in the ACC or Big East.

Anything can happen, but we shouldn't have much to worry about as long as the team prepares. Griffin will run up some yardage on us and probably help them score a few times. But their defense can't handle us. A&M has better athletes on defense than Baylor. We will roll up yardage like crazy on them and score alot of points. Final 48-24.

Seriously, come on lol. I know you guys are in the top 10 and are on top of the world right now, but give me a break. I never said you were Iowa State and I never even said that we'd win. If you come out flat and with the mindset that you're going to roll over us, this team will smack you in the mouth. No doubt about it. This is as explosive of an offense as we've ever had with more weapons than we've had since the Big 12 was formed. Defense and special teams put a complete game together last week, which is something we've yet to do up to this point this season. If we play like we did last week, you guys better bring your A game. If we don't and play like we did the previous 5 weeks, you guys should take care of business and can get excited about Texas. That's the only point I'm trying to make. If we get blown out, I'll come back and eat crow, but I think this team has a lot going for 'em and we can make this a game. As for the talent gap being "huge", maybe on defense, but on offense? I don't know. With all due respect, I think Griffin is as good, if not better, than Robinson is and RG3 is only a freshman. I don't know of Kendall Wright is better than Dez Bryant, but they're comparable. We have a sure fire first round pick at LT in Jason Smith. Jay Finley is a very explosive back. As good as Hunter? Doubt it, but we don't just use Finley. We have a stable of backs who can all run. I'm not trying to kick up dust, but at least give us a little credit lol. We're no slouch. As we all know, there are no weeks off in the Big 12. Anyone can show up at anytime.

    Zac Robinson > RG3

Dez Bryant > Every WR in the Big XII

    Kendall Hunter > Kendall Wright.

I know Baylor is talented and Robert Griffin (sp?) is one hell of an athlete but please don't compare your WR to Dez Bryant. Please. He's in a class of his own.

41 lol. Secondary is very average, but as I stated before, looked awesome last week against an Iowa State team who had things clicking with Arnaud under center. Not to mention that the score doesn't tell the whole story of that game. Griffin didn't even start. It was Kirby Freeman. By the time Griffin came in we were in a 21 point hole. Griff had some issues with exchanges on 3 zone read plays that gave them excellent field position or was right by our endzone. If Griff would've played the whole game, we very well could've won that game. Riley Skinner did pick apart our secondary though. I can give you that.

I give it up to Bryles and da Bears. They could beat us, so I respect them. We just need to be methodical, play hard every down, and try to rest the 1's as much as Baylor will allow.

Baylor is good this year, but if they want to win i think we would just have to have a horrible game. That could happen, but i think we will stay on track and get things done.

Have to disagree with you. Kendall Hunter and Kendall Wright don't even play the same position. Seeing Griffin in all 6 games and OSU in 2, I'd take Griffin. Kendall Wright is used in a lot of the same ways as Dez Bryant. You might've seen him...He was #3 on Sportscenter's Top 10 Plays last night. I didn't say he was better, but they are comparable. Both just a highlight reel waiting to happen.
