Mark Cooper's preview...

Aside from West Virginia, who the Cowboys swept, TCU is the team OSU played the best in the regular season.

The Cowboys lost by two -- on a shot near the buzzer -- in Fort Worth, Texas. And they controlled the game in Stillwater.
TCU was missing a big piece for the latter game in Kouat Noi.

Noi is second on the Horned Frogs in scoring (14.4 points per game) and 3-point shooting (37.1 percent). He knocked down four 3-pointers in the win over OSU.

In three career games against OSU, he’s averaging 14.3 points and is shooting 50 percent from long range.

Noi is also one of TCU’s better defenders and changed the dynamic of this matchup.
ICYMI, Mark also did a great feature this weekend on head student manager Isaac Rosenthal...

On Saturday, Rosenthal and Brett Budke received recognition for the work they have put in as Oklahoma State’s head managers. On a team with no seniors on the roster, they were honored on senior day before the Cowboys ended their regular season against West Virginia in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

It was a rare moment where their dedication was publicly recognized.

Boynton, who spent one year as a graduate manager after his playing career ended, is grateful for the drive OSU’s 12 managers demonstrate while making runs to Walmart, chauffeuring players to class, steaming uniforms or polishing white boards.

“I have a true understanding of how much sacrifice it takes and how much everyone else’s job is easier because of things that they do that people have no idea about,” Boynton said. “Their commitment, we don’t pay them anything. They just care enough about our success, about being a part of it, to just show up and work hard every day.

“They don’t have to be here. They don’t get anything for being here. No one (outside the program) really knows them.”

What goes into being a head manager? Rosenthal let this Tulsa World reporter peek behind the curtain at his game-day responsibilities before Oklahoma State hosted TCU on Feb. 18.
The winner of OSU/TCU will face 1-seed Kansas State at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. The winner of the other game tonight (OU vs WVU at 8 p.m. on ESPNU) will face 2-seed Texas Tech at 6 p.m. Thursday, also on ESPN2. A complete bracket of the tournament can be viewed here.

Mike Holder's job.
1. Hire someone else to do your basketball coach search. (Pay this guy $500,000)
2. 'Consultant' says "Why don't you hire the guy that's already here...was an assistant last year."
3. Watch what is potentially the worst basketball team OSU has ever put on the court, in the entire history of the school.
4. Get contract extension. (Because who cares about basketball, right?)
5. Put on sunglasses and go play some golf!

No discipline running the offense or defense. I don’t know what the coaching staff did to prepare this team for this game but they are playing like there was no preparation.

The defense is absolutely pathetic.

No way that wasn't intentional. You can see him look right at Lindy before he raised the arm, gritted his teeth and turned.

No adjustments made at the half apparently. Still doing the slow pick and roll to get the mismatch down low and the OSU defense still cannot stop it other than fouling.
