I am not saying he is an alcoholic but he should have learned the first time not to drive after having a drink. Have you not heard that the stillwater PD give out DUIs like durant hits 3s?

One of the stupidest things a person can do is drive drunk. So many lives and families have been decimated over a dumb ass drunk driver killing someone, and they usually survive the wreck. I have lost respect for him, and his Father needs to talk some Marine sense into him now. It is time to grow up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting a DUI is serious for sure and I am super bummed for Justin. I was stupid when I was younger and got a DUI... that was 20 years ago. I have a few friends who have had DUI's. Some of them truly have a drinking problem, some don't. It's interesting that there are so many perfect people on this board that are quick to assume the worst regarding JB. Only Hoopjunkie posted somewhat knowledgable commentary and even then he didn't throw out any holier-than-though comments...

Good luck to JB as he works through this. Hopefully he truly can learn something this time around. We'll find out one way or the other over the next few years...

They do but you'll stand on the strip for an hour waiting on one.

Superb week for OSU athletes and former players.

Thank you Dez for not doing crap like this despite your bad wrap.

More details coming out that make it look worse. Kelly Hines of the Tulsa World reports Blackmon blew a 0.24.

Also, a writer for the O'Colly cited a police report that states Blackmon was doing 60 in a 35 and drifting left of center, hence the traffic stop. Yeesh.

That's three times the legal limit. I can't imagine where you can drive 60 anywhere in Stilly without it being a terribly dangerous idea.

This whole thing sucks for everyone involved, but Justin has nobody to blame but himself at this point. I won't stop rooting for him and I still think he'll have a successful career, but this NOT the way his NFL career needed to start.

What he did isn't right but I think some of the people on here are being hypocrites. When I was in college this was pretty normal for most guys his age. I would still say that was when I was young and dumb but I'm not going to sit up here and act like he did something I never did.

The whole thing just sucks. His family are wonderful people... his little sister is in my oldest daughter's class, they are good friends. Mr. Blackmon makes it to all of her events (she does theater, choir, etc). Just too bad Justin, who has been a wonderful person also, has made some DUMB mistakes. I'm sure Mom will get on his ass about this. I'll make sure I don't ask her at the next theater practice on Monday!

Most guys his age aren't top 5 NFL picks with million$ on the line.

Also understand from some alumni in Houston that he was expected there for a paid autograph signing yesterday and blew it off. IMHO, he needs to seek help in a hurry.
