Yeah, my friend bought it at Target. It's 3.2 though and seems like a scam if it costs more than regular Bud Light here.

I had it this weekend and it was 6%. Definitely a different taste than regular Bud light. Was just a bit more expensive for a sixer.

Me too, seems they are smart enough not to jack with the brewing process on anything they've bought, and they are leaving the key people in place too.
They do have the best distribution system in the country which helps them.
But damn I wish they wouldn't bring out 15 new products a year, overkill if you ask me, but.......they just keep getting bigger and bigger.
AB-I now owns about 85% of the wholesalerships in Oklahoma (just bought out the Oklahoma City Wholesaler.

This is exactly what they did do with Rolling Rock. At least they were smart enough to change it back.

It's true though, they are massive and at least I'll actually be able to get some Goose Island.

When I saw it at walmart it was the same as a normal six pack. $6 and change.

They're learning not to muck up stuff, they just have to learn to trust thier wholesalers to take care of the brands when they get them. Goose Island will be a slow get in this part of the world (Texas Planhandle) but it's one of the Crafts I really want to see us get.

So I had a few Platiums last night. They were pretty decent, for a Bud Light. I'd order it again if a Bud Light was what I was in the mood for.

Hmmm.. I saw a display of BLP 12-packs at Sam's a couple of weeks ago, priced at $10 and change, so I grabbed one, thinking it was a good price ... and then realized that 12-packs sell for less than that at Wal-Mart. But, all this 6-point talk got me to wondering, is beer at Sam's 6 point since it's sold at room temp? Guess I'll have to look next time.

One thing I'll never miss about Oklahoma is the lack of availability of beer.

I had some last weekend. It tasted like Bud Light just a little cleaner and crisper. Not sure it is worth the extra couple of bucks. My wife liked the bottles. Said they were pretty. I'll drink it again some time. I'm a sucker for new beer products.
