Did anyone attend the Cowboy Extreme Camp in 2010?? I just made my reservation for the 2011 event. Just curious as to what I should expect.

Did you attend last year?? Price tag isnt cheap, but sounds like we are going to get a bunch of OSU gear included in the cost -- shirts, shoes, warmup, vest, shorts, etc.

I worked part of it. It's as close to being on the team as you can get. And yes, you do get the gear hookup... just like the players.

I went last year. It was great. You stand on the sidelines at practice, eat with the team at the training table, sit in meetings and get some pretty good osu gear. My only complaint was that almost all the gear said "cowboy extreme camp" and not OSU.

OP 9000 if you are working the camp again, I agree with californiajake's comment. If we have a choice I would prefer OSU gear versus "cowboy extreme camp" gear.

Seriously, if I won the lottery and got the exact amount it cost to do this I would have a really hard time passing it up rather than spending the money on debts or more responsible matters.

Phantom, if you have any questions about the camp, feel free to ask. Also, I will be attending this year as well. I just sent my form in 2 days ago. :D

OK, when I saw the price........ :(

That $$$$$ will be used for future season tickets instead. :D

When I win the lotto, I will be there.

Still maybe ought to add it to my bucket list, though.

I'm thinking about doing it next year after I get some bills paid off. Would be great to be part of it and see what the players go through on a daily basis...

Good call on buying future season tickets. I am sure the CowboyXtremeCamp is amazing but it seems a little high. Fixed prices are the same....why couldn't 1k fans attend at 500?

How do you make reservation? What are the times and dates for this year? Thanks for your help!

Aug 5-7th. I think you just call the football office. I dont make a lot of money but the good thing is you put a $250.00 deposit and then I get 4 months to save the rest. I think the money is that high because it pays for those football camps they put on. It was one of my bucket list things as well for last year but couldnt pass it up again this year cuz it was so cool.

That would be impossible. 1,000 fans watching practice, in the meetings, getting equipment, clothes, etc...I just don't see it happening.

I think the price is where it should be. It's a pretty special privilege.

I went last year and had a blast. Eating at the training table was good but the best part was sitting in the position meetings with the assistant coaches and players. Coach Wickline and Holgerson were my favorites. Johnny Barr is the person to contact in the football office if you have an interest in going this year.
