When we lost Andy for the series we became the underdogs to Witchita State. I was not certain we were even going to be in the game with how depleted our pitching was. Except the tenth inning we played with poise and confidence. And we played with confidence and poise in the tenth until the grand slam.

Jordy hits a walk off home run in the bottom of the ninth to beat TCU earlier.

We were fifth to sixth to end the year. I absolutely loved this team.

It is a difficult loss, but this has been one of the most excitining, entertaining, fun teams we have had in quite awhile.

Oh, and I can't wait til next year.

I just heard from a guy at the game that the home plate ump was the same one from last night... the one that was really pathetic.

You are sooooo right on that. I believe we would have been undefeated tonight if we would have had Oliver pitching this weekend.... What horrible luck!

I don't even wanna think about it right now. Just an absolutely ridiculous night. Those umpires were terrible, and they knew it, and the whole stadium knew it.

I suppose the NCAA got what they wanted. Shoot, they've had a hand in just about everything that has happened to this team in the past week.

My tolerance for the NCAA just went from about two percent to negative fifty percent. I don't believe I will ever be friends with them again, and they are not allowed at my birthday party.

Just what did this school do that makes them hate us so much? What is the grudge? Why must they LOOK for ways to screw us? Does this happen to other schools? Do they care as much as us if it does? Are we just blowing it out of proportion? Or is it really just that bad of a situation...

    The Wichita State coach.

And it doesn't surprise me one bit.

I really hope Holder files a lawsuit, or at least raises hell, when we find out Andy did nothing wrong.

If that is the case, it is clearly out of line. Umpires, referees, etc should never put themselves in a position or appearance of bias! Especially at this level! That is nothing more than professionalism....

You pretty much nailed my sentiment. Our karma hasn't been very good lately. It seems like even when our teams do what they are supposed to do (women's hoops, baseball), somebody else rips the rug out from underneath them.
