After today’s loss in Waco, Littell is 71-76 in the Big 12.
He’s a nice guy, but he’s currently a slightly below average Big 12 coach.
He’s not exactly elevating the program. Fortunately for him the expectations for the program aren’t high.
Possibly a good coach, but not working out here. His best years were all shortly after the accident that elevated him to HC. Since then he hasn't done much with the players he's brought in. Plus he doesn't have high expectations for his team each year, which isn't really something I want from my HC. He is the oldest coach in the Big 12 and middle of the pack in terms of pay. But his results are not really middle of the pack, more toward the bottom of the pack. So it may be time for him to move on from coaching and off into retirement.. Or back to the JUCO level where he had some great success.
