Welcome to High Noon Highlights, a place to catch up on everything you missed in Oklahoma State Athletics.

It’s high (after)noon...

Matthew Wolff signs first deal:

When Matthew Wolff makes his pro debut this weekend at the Travelers Championship (along side former OSU teammate Victor Hovland no less), he’ll do so swinging TaylorMades, after signing a deal with the golf club company. Golf.com had the scoop on what the deal entails.

The 20-year-old won’t have to worry about getting acclimated to new equipment as he prepares to make his professional debut at the Travelers Championship. Wolff was already playing TaylorMade gear during his time at Oklahoma State and looks to have made just one change to his usual setup, replacing his M5 driver with M6 (8 degrees; Graphite Design Tour-AD TP 7TX shaft).

Wolff joins Cal standout Collin Morikawa as the newest members of TaylorMade’s Tour staff. During his time in Stillwater, Wolff logged six wins (a school record) with a 68.69 scoring average as a sophomore — the lowest in college golf history. He won the 2019 individual title at the NCAA Championship and was honored with the Fred Haskins Award and Jack Nicklaus Award, given annually to the top player in Division I golf.{golf.com}
Mike Boynton chats with the Oklahoman:

Oklahoman summer intern and O’Colly rockstar Hallie Hart had the opportunity to talk to Coach Boynton about this year’s team and the returning walk-ons.

“Now, we’re getting ourselves back where we’re gonna be able to create a competitive environment and give these kids a chance to grow and develop,” Boynton said. “And then go out and have some success as a group.”

During the tumultuous past season, Boynton praised the walk-ons who helped the Cowboys, and at least two are returning. Although he isn’t sure what the future holds for all of them, he said Dee Mitchell and J.K. Hadlock are on the team for the 2019-20 season.

“They’re here now through the summer,” Boynton said. “They work with our guys, and as we get through the fall, we’ll see if any other opportunities open up (for others).” {The Oklahoman}
ICYMI:

Oklahoma State added recruits No. 12 and 13 to their 2020 class on Tuesday with commitments by tight end Quinton Stewart (who we will have more on later this week) and cornerback Jordan Reagan.
