Great piece on the GOAT. Just a preview here, but i'm sure you can find the whole 20 + minute feature if you look hard enough

I enjoyed it. It was an emotional piece. I completely forgot he lost his daughter back then. He is a very good man who has strong self awareness and humility, even with his incredible heights of success. You really can see in this film how John Smith can mentor these guys even after college.

Unfortunate follow up.. DC loses via 4th round TKO. Arguably won the first 3 rounds (though I had him up 2-1) and just kind of wilted. Took some body shots that bothered him and it eventually lead to defeat.

I had him up 3-0... I wish he would've utilized his wrestling more. I hope we see a trilogy, but if not...what a career. He has nothing left to prove.
Agreed. Whether he fights again or not, his impact will continue to be felt. The man is doing a lot for the sport. Selfishly I’d like to see him go again so he can go out on top. He even admitted he didn’t follow the game plan.. I think he’s pretty clearly the better all around fighter
