Sadly, there are a lot of “woke” twitter idiots that act like that is true.
I have trouble believing it's not. We haven't had a threat from a foreign terrorist since San Bernardino... But here we are with these idiots shooting something up every week. Not sure there's a solution except to stop telling them how special they are

So I guess we should be worried about you?
As mentioned in another thread, women that graduated from OU are stupid and easy and aplenty in Dallas... So I'll be alright.

So do you and others think really the biggest fear is the Muslim terrorist or illegal Mexican immigrant who wants to out do the white shooter's toll in Las Vegas of 59 killed and 527 injured.
@CTeamPoke said that white guys were the biggest threat.

It is amazing to me how the MSM doesn’t seem to care about inner city life. There were 3x more people shot this week in Chicago alone! Yes, what happened in El Paso and Dayton is utterly horrific, but those, unfortunately, were less than 1 week in Chicago.

Dayton shooter was a registered democrat who self identified as a "leftist" socialist and shot his sister and her boyfriend.
Sounds like a white supremacist to me. *eyeroll*

It's not about political ideology.... That's where so many are getting this wrong.

It's about two things... Telling young men that they're special and can have whatever they want their entire lives, while supressing every outlet they have to express their masculinity, and then them realizing that life is freaking tough and you're going to get rejected a lot... They don't know how to deal with it, so they latch on to some crackpot saviour mentality and believe that they can become important by going out and killing a lot of people at once.

"Toxic masculinity" is a phrase that needs to go away... And sheltering children from rejection and being told they're not special needs to go away.

I haven't delved very deeply into either one of this weekend's psychos' lives but without even looking, I can guess several things about both of them:

-Dad not present growing up
-Antidepressants/ADHD drugs
-12+ hours a day online (gaming or socials)

We can go after the guns, or the extremist message boards, or the video games or whatever else, and it's not going to solve much. There's no easy fix. We have a lost generation of boys and it's not going to get better any time soon. We have a culture of broken homes and fatherless kids. Our humanity has been removed and replaced with tribalism.

I think the problem is that you and so many are just focusing on the fear part of it. Statistically we should not fear any of these things as them affecting us personally is so low. But most politicians and media cannot let a good fear event pass them by so here we are. I do think all of the things you mention should be issues that we and the politicians we elect should look into but leave the fear politics out of it.

I'm pretty sure the last 20 years in the US has taught us the real threat is Extremist ideology. Regardless if it is inspired by religion, race, or politics.

Extremist Ideology has been the culprit behind almost every mass shooting the US has had in the last two decades and it has effected both Christian and Muslim religions, Left and Right Politics, and several races of people.

Where Trump gets his ass in a bind with this that he has retweeted several Extremist over his term in office. I assume this was without his knowledge of the person he is retweeting holding and promoting extremist views. Every time Trump does this, to the extremist, it legitimizes their extreme positions and they then feel the POTUS is in agreement with ALL of their views. Leading them to mistakenly think the POTUS is on their side on every crazy cooked up extreme view they hold thus emboldening them.

When extremist views are the driving force behind many of these actions, we should NOT have a POTUS who by accident or not is helping to spread or legitimizing those views.

Oh, I know it's not political, everyone in Twitter and Facebook are screaming about racist trump and these make white supremacist kids.... They make no distinction between the 2 shooters. 1 person tried to say there have been "dozens" of mass shootings under trump and they were all white male racist terrorists.
