Is someone whispering answers to Romney?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jP0vewX-ES0

Russert: "Will you do for social security what Ronald Reagan did in 1983?"

Voice: "psssssssss... Hey Romney....He raised taxes"

Romney: I'm not going to raise taxes.

Kaje, who will you end up voting for in in the general election when your man, Ron Paul, isn't a candidate. One of the candidates you've spent all this time dogging to "support" your man, or will you write him in just on principle? Inquiring minds want to know.

Haven't decided yet but their name won't end in Huckabee, McCain, Romney or Giuliani.

As I recall less then 10 % of the delegates have been chosen for the GOP.

There is still plenty of time for America to come to its senses.

You people are going to run this country into the ground. It's clear to anyone with half a brain that Kang would make the better Overlord.

Again much to do about nothing! More misleading information to distort the truth and the real issues.

I'm guessing if ron does decent on super tuesday that he may run a 3rd party campaign. He has said that he probably won't but I'm guessing that he will. If not there's a good chance I probably won't vote.

Ron Paul is on the record as saying he will not run as a 3rd party if he does not win. I'd hate for the fairy tale image of Ron Paul to come crashing down because he decides to be a flip flopper like all the other politicians. I think kaje might implode ;)

no, he said he probably won't or doesn't plan on it; he has never said out right that he 100% would not. The reason why I think he will is because he can; he just has to say he doesn't want to b/c he needs to be taken seriously as a republican right now.

    nice try though.

That is such a stretch and you know it, unless you are just that blinded by hate (not hatred in its true sense, more like "hater-ade" hate) . How could he be taken as a serious candidate if he says he plans on running a 3rd party campaign? you know he can't say that.

Did you even read the article you posted?

"I have no intention of doing that," Paul told The Trail.

Asked how he'd respond if his supporters clamored for him to mount a run outside the GOP, Paul responded: "We'll see if the supporters keep sending the money. But right now, our focus is on February 5th."

    The headline itself suggest scepticism.

btw, I know you weren't being super cereal - you know how defensive us paulites are though.

Theres a quote and a link to video of Paul saying definitively that he wouldn't run as a 3rd party candidate.

    Wrong.

Jan 19th Las Vegas NewsOne interview

at the end of the interview, about the 7 min mark...

Jeff Gillan: The chances of you getting the Republican nomination-I don't mean to, uh, insult you-are somewhat slim perhaps. But let me ask you this, are you considering a third party run? Would you rule that out?

Ron Paul: Yeah, I'm ruling it out. I have no intention of doing that. I have no plans to do it, don't want to do it, its not going to happen.

JG: So, if you don't get the Republican nomination you're out?

    RP: That's right.

    Here's the thread link.

I'd like to see it but still (edit: alright, very neat - still meaningless), i've already stated why he can't and any rational person knows this. Only a hater could really take it seriously or see it as a flaw. I think Chris was just being cute. You guys do spend a lot of time hating a person that you are so sure isn't going to make any difference.

Or only a paulite could see it as him not saying he won't be out, despite him saying he's out.

Not really being cute...I honestly am intrigued on who kaje would vote for after his countless posts and threads hating on anybody not named Ron Paul. He already said it wouldn't be one of the republican front runners. So I suppose he's for the socialist, I'm sorry, I mean democratic leaders Clinton and Obama. That's quite a large leap if I do say so myself.

And it's far less time then kaje and other paulites on this board spend hating on every single other candidate in the election.
