I'm trying to speed our takeover by commie Nazis. It's in the flyer that all Democrats got from Obama right after he was elected. We're working together to bring down the country because we all hate it so much. We weren't supposed to talk about it, but now that it's inevitable we can rub it in your faces. Kneel, puny proletariat!

Oh, crap! Why did OP go to a 5 minute post editing limit?!

Umm, heh, pretty good joke, right guys? Us dirty liberals have done so many drugs, sometimes our minds get away from us. I think that post was just a combination of Pineapple Express and falling asleep to Dr. Zhivago. Pay it no mind. Nothing to see here.

What it seems to me is that he has hit on some topics that may be too close to home to some.

There is a political war being waged by some against success in this country. Success is being demonized for political gain to create class division.

As is usually the case Cimmaron, you have a clear grasp of the core of the issue. Class warfare apologists make me sick to my stomach. What the "Occupy" folks are doing in this country is sickening. I never thought I'd see the day in America where hard working successful people were demonized and vilified and lazy do-nothing losers were celebrated. The ignorance level in this country currently regarding Capitalism and the opportunities it provides deeply saddens me.......

It sounded like foil hat paranoia to me. You really think the president wants America to fail, suffer, and despair? If that was the case, then why would he be pushing for higher taxes for the rich? Why wouldn't he push the income gap as far and fast as he can? That would seem to be the best way to bring about a revolution of the proletariat, wouldn't it? If they get more money, what do they have to bitch about?

Raising taxes on those who already carry the entire tax load isn't going to do anything except give that bunch in Washington the idea they have more to spend. Result of that, deeper debt!

We don't have an income problem in this country. We have a spending problem.

Obama has not hidden very well that he wants to fundamentally change this country. In his view a centralized government is what is needed to basically control everything you do right down to what you eat. The end around of government controled health care (as with other programs) is telling you how to live your life if you want health coverage.

This administration is pushing class warfare. He has painted a picture to many people that somehow those who are successful are stealing from you. He has used many comments similar to this one...

"“You come in and you’ve got a bad sore throat, or your child has a bad sore throat or has repeated sore throats. The doctor may look at the reimbursement system and say to himself, ‘You know what? I make a lot more money if I take this kid’s tonsils out.’”

When you make comments similar to that one about everything from doctors, police officers and those who provide food for this country over and over what do you think is the implied message?

Your treachery and lack of vision has been reported to the central government.

Why does the U.S. government use strong arm tactics to control the states? Hell the money comes from people who live in those states. But they in many cases tell the states that if you don't comply with this law we the federal government will withhold funding for various projects?

Why don't they just let the state exercise their seperation and rights under the constitution? Why do we need such a power hungry federal government?

The size and scope of the federal government grew at an unprecedented rate under Dubya, but yet your anti-government rants didn't begin until Obama became POTUS. Hmmm.

I didn't like what Bush was adding to the size of the federal government either. But I see some very fundamental differences between Bush and Obama in regards to government.

So, tell us what exactly it is you don't like about Obama?

Then why did your anti-government diatribes only begin until after Obama became POTUS?

Really? while I am sure that I will have plenty who disagree with me. I see in obama a lot of continuation of Bush policies... .
Bush was inherently a corporate statist. The only areas where Obama has drifted are ones where his outlook forces him into a different worldview.
As far as his outlook and internal philosophy I dont think Obama is a socialist. I think Obama is a liberal corporatist.
