"But if the BCS is all it claims to be — a vehicle to ensure that the top two teams play in its title game — then Oklahoma State is not the team fans deserve or should desire to see. Neither, in my opinion, is Alabama or Oregon, teams that have already had their shots at the Tigers. Arkansas? Its opportunity will come Nov. 25 at LSU.

Yes, the team that in the end will truly deserve a chance to play LSU is Oklahoma"

Article is blocked for me here at work. Which is fine. Just from reading the quote I know the writer is a moron. Really? The fans deserve to see the team that got laid out by Texas Tech play in the MNC? Yeah.......

Original title of that article was "Oklahoma deserves a rematch with LSU".

I think it is pointless to complain about people's opinion's, but yes, that guy and his article was idiotic.

Like many others, he thinks that because we haven't faced a defense like LSU that our offense is suspect, but again I say LSU hasn't face an offense like ours. We will see on Jan 9th.

Seems like the kind of article that would have been a little better of being published after the Bedlam game IF the sooners beat us.

He is going to look awful stupid when we beat OU.

Notice he doesn't tell his readers what the line would be in an LSU vs. OSU game? Why? Because it would blow his thesis to bits. According to Sagarin's predictor, which pretty closely mimics the Vegas line, OSU would be about a 4.5 point dog. That's just a single point worse than Oklahoma. Surely a single point in the Vegas line, would not be denying America "what it deserves."

And THAT is not factoring in how the line would change when OSU beats OU on Dec. 3, to earn the spot in the championship game!

Thats whats driving these idiots mad. If, just if OU manages more points on the 3rd, they will have ZERO time to spew thier BS before the BCS is finalized. So in the next couple of weeks they (Media) are going to pretend like OSU is going to lose the game. If they dont, they have no forum to display thier opionions.

One thing I will say, this turd discredits our sheudule and pumps OU's. The only difference is FSU which OSU would be a 14 point favorite if they were to play tommorow.

He might have a point if ou beats Oklahoma State. And if LSU stays undefeated. Those are both pretty big IFS

Its going to take a lot more than that for it to actually happen:

    OU beats OSU in bedlam
    LSU wins out
    Oregon gets beat by USC
    Bama drops another game

Its possible all of that COULD happen...but its not very likely.

Arkansas got blasted by Alabama. OU got run over rough shod by a red raider. OSU arguably has played the toughest schedule of any of the top 10 teams!

    2. Texas A&M
    3. Kansas

That's just his lame opinion/wishful thinking which he is entitled to. If OSU beats OU and he still thinks that, then he'll be just like every other d0Uche that wished his team was in the National Championship.

What I find interesting is that in his story, he makes an argument against OU, while then touting them for the game. He disses OU for losing to Florida in the BCS title game a few years ago, despite their 54 PPG average that year, then turns around and says OU deserves a shot.
