Did anyone keep count of how many times Bob Knight said "down screen" tonight?

Actually it's hard to beat a top 5 team when one of their players is allowed to tackle or punch. Not that Thompson did that, but I wouldn't have been surprised if he'd done it and it had been alright.

We were doing alright until Taylor couldn't miss.

No, I honestly never thought I'd be down after a basketball game and turn to the football highlights of our game against Texas for a pick-me-up.

Keiton has talked about playing ball overseas or possibly on The And1 tour. I wish him the best and hope he comes back soon.

another thing i like about this team is brian williams had his best games vs the best teams. him, nash, brown, and cobbins are a good building block.

Bottom line is we have 3 guys 6'7" or taller in Cobbins, Jurick, and Soucek. One of these guys need to be developed into a low post scoring threat.

Absolutely. This team is going to be pretty beastly next year... hopefully Gonzaga is the toughest non-con game so that we can get some confidence under the belt in pre-conference play. That's really what this team needs.

Truth. We had a gauntlet this year in the non-con.

Good game for Page to go out on but I wish we could of got the W.

We definitely missed Nash's offense tonight. Williams stepped up but Brown seemed hesitant and couldn't really create anything.

It seemed like our guys were even more than usual - playing thru Page.
Although, that was great for Page and partially for OSU - I kind of wish guys like Williams, Brown, or even Guerrero would have taken it to the hoop a little more often.

Brown settled for outside jumpshots which he wasn't hitting.
The past few games showed some promise for Guerrero - he seems to be a little more undercontrol but he made a couple bad passes at KEY situations tonight which was NOT good. But he seems to be improving and when he did take shots...he wasn't forcing them. I think he'll begin to hit more of the jumpers and floaters the more playing time he gets. So I think CG's future is looking a little better. Soucek looked lost again after looking somewhat good vs A&M. Jurrick and Cobbins played good defense on Robinson but it seemed like Robinson either had a great shot and scored or if he missed...we were called for a foul. So IDK about that.

Overall, decent game and we played OK but not good enough to win against a top 5 team.

Sat behind her (we were the ones with the big hats). She was awful. Cussed us out and flipped off the student section in front of her little daughter. Class act.

Yeah, we have performed well in conference or at least "ok". If we had won this many games in conference last year as we have this year...we may have gone to the tourny. We just didn't have the creampuff non-con schedule and experienced players like we did last year to get off to a good start. Next year that changes and I hope we only have a few losses going into conference play.
