Gundy said no coaches to talk to
Penn State kids unless they talk first. So doubt it.

Well, I'd much rather Gundy dismiss someone than let them become a problem. We all need to remember as fans that although we're slowly getting accustomed to winning, our Coach still holds the excellent philosophy of building young mens character is as equally important as the number of wins a season. I'd rather have a team of smart, class act athletes than one full of ignorant punks who can't follow team rules any day of the week.

I was just going off what RA said a week or so ago that one of our coaches contacted Penn St. and asked permission to speak with one of their OL's. The Kid is from Tx.

Summers are great. We learn who wants to play and who wants to be a dumbass. Get rid of the dumbasses.

I hate losing guys but I'd rather deal with it now than midway through the season.

True that. Hate to lose Michael Bowie as a player but Devin Davis can play. I'm just unsure of who is behind Davis. Koenig is a backup at RT and can play, maybe he could back up both spots now.

I thought Grishby was a guard?? Is he a tackle?

How do you know that Graham won't just move to LT with Koenig (sp?) stepping-up at RT? Not saying you're right or knowledgable, just asking sincerely.

This is your opinion or you've heard this from the coaches?

Grishby is a Guard man. Only have Davis as backup- he's a good one. We just need to hope Davis stays healthy all year. If not my guess would be Koenig slides into start and Graham goes to LT. As is we are ok IMHO but need Davis to stay healthy.

I've heard coaches say they really like Davis. You might be right that Koenig step up and move Graham over but I would be surprised if Davis just didn't step in and start and keep everybody as is. If something happened to Davis then we'd have to do some shuffling in my opinion.

Dude. From what Ive seen Wickline likes to move guys around. He likes them to be versatile. I bet he could play tackle.

Hate to lose a starter, but better now than later. Wick will coach well through this--he always does!

and this was after Bowie had to sit out an extra season after high school because he had some sort of grades/credit issue.

so you would think someone that had to work harder than most to get to OSU would appreciate where he is now and would know that 1 stupid decision can mess it all up.
