Bedlam and Flame comes to mind, but I must admit, when I come here looking for news on DEZ, Hunter, or things ACTUALLY OSU related, I get 5 new threads on Traber or WWLS.

The worst offense, however, is the assinine number of threads about blackouts. Hell, have them or don't have them, but we don't need a new thread every 10 minutes about it.

Definitions of Blackout on the Web:

-a suspension of radio or tv broadcasting
-darkness resulting from the extinction of lights (as in a city invisible to enemy aircraft)
-the failure of electric power for a general region
    -a momentary loss of consciousness
amnesia: partial or total loss of memory; "he has a total blackout for events of the evening"

Now why would we want to do any of these during a football game? :D

If you hate Traber or WWLS's coverage of OSU, the best thing you can do is to stop listening. WWLS makes money off of you when you listen, whether you hate them or not.

Boycott them. Make them a non issue.

I guess the logical reply would be if you hate Traber threads so much, DON'T FREAKING OPEN THEM!

No joke. Add the blackout dorkfest and the DOK bashing in there as well.

The OP didn't say he/she was opening them, so don't assume as much. I don't open them either, and I can't stand them. When the stupid threads about the DOK, WWLS staff, non-traditions that should be traditions, Free DEZ from the facist NCAA, and every other topic that has been beaten to death are made, they push relevent threads to the second page. Then no one see's them and they make dupe threads. Maybe lump everything into a "dead horse" forum. You want to talk about a blackout? Do it in the "dead horse" forum, so the rest of us don't have to put up with it.

I like the suggestion of a dead horse forum, but who ever mod's it has to wear a foil hat. :D

If the threads were relevant and people were posting to them then they would be on the front page. Most of the people on here have no connection with the University nor the media and therefore anything they would have to say would be pure speculation, another words gossip and rumor. If I am not mistaken there is a category for OSU NEWS FEEDS, is not that where the real news goes. So...if you don't like the title to a thread do not open it...problem solved.
