FRISCO, Texas — Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy has yet to a name a starting quarterback. He has, however, named a "guy" entering fall camp.
During his Big 12 Media Days news conference Tuesday at the Ford Center at The Star, Gundy said Taylor Cornelius is the frontrunner in the Cowboys' quarterback competition as the team nears fall camp.
"Certainly going into August, he is our guy," Gundy said.
Gundy described Cornelius, a redshirt senior who spent the past two seasons as Mason Rudolph's primary backup, as "intelligent" and "humble.
