He was never any good anyway and is really not good enough to play for the sooners. Not a big loss. :)

I wouldn't say that. He has some major upside.

Rumor has it that he has not even been in contact with A&M about transferring there. Also some rumors about him not attending classes.

Who knows what is truly going on with this kid.

I wish him luck in his future endeavors and I hope he is successful in whatever he chooses to do in life.

Heard he has been in the dog house. Probably the reason he didn't play in the Red/White game.

This sucks. Kameel showed flashes of real potential. :/

Some kids have other things on their mind. Let him regret it and don't sweat it as a fan. It is his decision.

You mean like his 1.8 catch per game average after Broyles got hurt?

The kid could be something good, but with what OU has coming in, the potential is even greater.

He should have gone to class.

He was a true freshman last year. He could have been a really good player, this one smarts.

How many catches a game did Blackmon have his freshman year playing?

I'm sure we can find someone on the depth chart to catch 1.8 catches a game.

It's unfortunate for the kid, but it doesn't smart. Next man up.

Blackmon had 20 catches his redshirt freshman year. Of course some of that was Dez early in year first 3 games then suspeneded. Some of that was we used the wrong guy, Anyiam when Dez went out.

Looks like Stoops suspended most of them.

We just brought in 5 or 6 receivers with this years recruiting class. Kameel did a whole lot of nothing while he was at Oklahoma. He's easily replaceable.

I agree but, Reynolds would have taken a lot of pressure off of Metoyer to produce right away. Problem with freshman receivers is learning and running the right routes.

His name is Courtney Gardner and Durron Neal.

The main thing that sucks is having to burn red shirts. That stinks.

Ryan Broyles, maybe the best receiver in the history of your school had a whopping 73 more receiving yards than Jackson his freshman year.

Jaz will be a loss. Franks should hurt us also, but Kameel won't be too big of a loss.

Dejuan Miller was also the next big thing. I am sure Meteyor is going to be good and Gardner probably but, that would be it for being confident. Still first year players come with growing pains. Well except for our true freshman QB.:D
