The Cowboys are a finalist for the biggest prospect they’ve offered in the 2021 cycle.

Junior college offensive tackle Caleb Etienne announced his top three via Twitter on Saturday afternoon of Oklahoma State, Houston and Texas Tech. The 6-foot-8, 310-pound blocker also noted that he will pick a school Dec. 12.

OSU offered Etienne on May 20. He played at Fort Scott Community College in 2019 before transferring to Butler Community College this offseason. There were myriad Power Five teams in on him, as he also has offers from Oregon, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Mississippi State and others.

He went to Warren Easton High School in New Orleans. It’s the same high school that produced Tyron Johnson.

As of now, OSU has two 2021 offensive line commits in Logan Nobles and Silas Barr.

The Cowboys got thinner up front this offseason with Dylan Galloway, Bryce Bray and Hunter Anthony all leaving the program prematurely. OSU could lose senior starters Teven Jenkins, Josh Sills and Ry Schneider after this season, depending on whether they want to use the extra eligibility the NCAA has allowed.

With all of that said, a developed body like Etienne’s would be a welcomed sight for Charlie Dickey and Co.
