You know, if you're just damned set on being upset about today, then go somewhere else and be upset. Nothing we tell you is going to change your mind anyway.

There are plenty of examples of teams losing long-time committed players, but it's not worth posting them all here. It's not going to change your unfounded disappointment in this year's class.

Enjoy the taste of crow when Wes Lunt is throwing bombs to CJ Curry while Michael Wilson pass protects and Caleb Muncrief picks up the blitz.

You are correct according to the study. We don't lose committs because of coaches:

Oh and btw....it was just announced on Twitter that OSU has just offered WR Austin Hays from San Antonio Reagan. The kid has a bunch of D2 offers and was being looked at as a possible walk-on. Another swing and a miss.

We really wanted Curry, Lunt, etc. And we got them.

Keep doomcrying like it means anything, though.

I will, just as I'm sure you will continue to spin that this is one of the greatest classes ever while we're out today offering kids we wanted as walk-ons.

That's because you don't know the first thing about recruiting.

Hahahaha.....while that couldn't be further from the truth, you don't have to know much to see that no other division 1 coach in the country thought a kid was worthy of a scholarship. Our OWN coaches didn't think he was worthy either until they went 0-7 the last 2 weeks on the recruiting trail.

You be CORRECT,...we shot for the big boys with that final 7 run and all we got was and empty recruiting budget ( those kids cost a lot of money...and hind sight shows they played us like a drum).

So I guess your closing ratio is 100% in everything that you do? Ace every test? Get every job you interview for? Get laid by every girl you want? Are you for real? Sometimes things just don't work out. An athlete choosing another school over OSU is not necessarily a slight against OSU. Maybe more like cudos to the school they chose, a better fit, etc. You know that's why they make more than one color of car, right.
