Don't know how much he was a consideration for them but it came up during the senior bowl. Looks like they have aquired the Rams 2nd pick in exchange for three first round picks according to espn.

I for one am glad he will not be Redskin.

He had dinner last night with John Elway. Hearing that the Broncos are looking at him the hardest right now.

I find it hilarious they're STILL talking to Manning even though they obviously traded up to get RGIII.

It says to me that RGIII is a next-to-last resort outside of ending up with some second-run free agent QB. And yet they paid a king's ransom to get him. Fail.

I just don't think RG3 is going to be that good of pro. They gave up a ton for him, and I think it will come back to haunt the 'Skins.

Wow three for one all three in the first round. Can't believe the #2 pick has that much value for the Skins.

It sounds like Manning has made it clear that he has no interest in going to the Redskins. He has come out and said he does not want to go to an NFC team. I too find it funny that the Redskins are doing this the Rams could come out smelling like a rose after this trade kinda along the lines of the Walker trade.

The Rams did very well for themselves. The key now is to not screw up the picks, because they're likely going to have a pretty high first-rounder themselves next year anyway. If they play it right, they definitely could turn it around like Dallas did with the Walker trade - and while bumping back to No. 6 probably keeps them from getting Matt Kalil, it keeps them in range to get a start on that process by drafting Blackmon.

What's going to be even sweeter is if/when RGIII goes into whiner mode and sucks. Nothing against the Redskins, but that guy needs a strong dose of shut the hell up.

Wow, I thought the Rams were making out like bandits when I thought they were going to trade the pick to CLE for two first rounders this draft. Does Wash have two picks this year or is it 3 over 3? Many people thought they would take JB at 4 and get an OT at 22 or take Kalil at 4 if still available.

    It's 3 over 3, plus this year's second-rounder.

As a skins fan I couldn't agree with you more. I think RG III will be a OK/good but not great QB, not worthy of taking with the 2nd pick. He will be better than what they have now (Rex "freakin" Grossman and John "friggin" Beck) which isn't really saying much. But is anyone really surprised that Washington screwed this up? I'm not. The franchise has been a tire fire for a decade now.

I hope for Weeden's sake he avoids the Denver Tebow saga.

As a Skins fan, i have had my head in a paper bag for 10 plus years. All I can hope is maybe they traded up to get Blackmon, then be able to get Weeden in a later round. I for one do not like RG3. I think he will be yet another failure for the Skins

Not sure the Weed needs to avoid Denver?? Meaning T goes down (which could happen a lot the way he runs a lot) or Manning goes down ( doesn't come all the way back)...then the Weed would best be ready to strap it on and get after it.??? And why doesn't anyone think Weed could be a great back up at Dallas (and have someone in place to mop up or take over 'when' Romo gets hurt??) Also guess this will cut BW out of the 1st round?
