Personally, I like it. I'm a fan of Ron Paul and I voted for him up her in the Missouri primary. But the more RP people that go over to McCain is a better chance that the platform will be impacted in ways that will be more to my liking.

I've said from the beginning that I like and support Ron Paul. But that he was unelectable. His presence and issues are important for the GOP regardless of the fact that he wasn't going to win.

Gotta agree. At one point, I was a huge Ron Paul supporter, until the "psychoness" of his supporters on the Internet really turned me off on him. I agree with a lot of the stuff he believes in, but man, the Paulites just really start to wear on you.

Agree 100% there. Other than his foreign policy, I like what he says for the most part.

I like this guy. Hadn't heard much about him prior, but just read a couple of his latest articles in the National Review. His most recent discussed the good and the bad of Paul's Economics. I agreed with pretty much everything he said. Although he still supports Paul in the end (or did at that point) and I don't (for many reasons).

The best article though was where he discussed the Isolationists (economic). Mainly Lou Dobbs. Although I really don't think Dobbs is an idiot, he certainly has some idiotic economic views, and the worse part is his arrogant attitude when delivering these views on CNN. Well anyway Luskin hits the nail right on the head in his article discussing Dobbs. Not sure how much power he will wield with McCain, but in my limited exposure to him at least he seems to be on the right page.

Ron Paul is a lunatic. I would've left his staff as well.

I'm all for it. The more McCain cherry picks Paul's staff, the better off we all will be if he indeed gets the nomination. As long as he doesn't sell out / get corrupted, this is a great thing.

I didn't think of it in that way but it certainly could be the case. McCain could certainly use a shot of conservative thought.
