On an unrelated note. ZERO goon players were drafted in the first round of the NFL draft. Shows exactly how much those stars mean for recruiting!

Yes one year is automatically the new norm. Its not like two years ago three of the first four players taken in the draft weren't sooners.

And it's not just one year. Check again, smooth.

Of course three star players make it to the first round of the draft. There's a ton more of them than 4 and five stars. Only logical.

Also OU didn't lose very many people last year. 4 got drafted. Demarco has shown he should have been taken higher. If everyone would have left after last season the Sooners would have a good amount taken in the 2-4 rounds.

And the point is? All of the better talent on OU were underclassmen in 2011. OU will have at least 2 first rounders next year.

Oh, hey, cool! One year! Awesome. That typically happens that your school will send a bunch of talent to the NFL after a good year. 2 guys in the first round? Killer! Way to go!

In 2010, we had 4 guys in the first round. Actually, 3 of the top four picks were from Oklahoma... In the 2005 draft, they had 5 go in the first two rounds.

I got to looking, and it seems Okie State has only had sixteen guys get drafted in the formal NFL draft in the last decade. Sixteen!!! Wooooooo!!!! SIXTEEN!!!!

Oklahoma had forty-nine in that time span. Twelve of those first rounders. So technically, Oklahoma had about the same number of guys taken in the first round of the draft, than you guys had all together in that timespan.

But, hey! Keep on smiling guys! But don't mistake the fact that you're not sniffing butts in the Big 12 anymore as you've suddenly reached the mountain top and are ruling the roost. You had a good year. Congrats. You're far from a dynasty.

Tony Jefferson (will likely forego Senior season) and Landry Jones will likely be first rounders.

Not to mention R.J. Washington and Demontre Hurst also have 1st round talent as well, though likely 2nd rounders.

If Tannehill can go first then so can Jones that's all Im saying.

Those 4 guys lead us 2 big 12 championship s which is twice as many as osu has.

Also 2 of them where hurt during that 8-5 season so how can they have lead us to anything?
