If you have cognitive dissonance about that, well, it's just something you'll have to work out. You assume I live in an area where it's illegal.

The fact of being proud to be stoned, regardless of the legality is sad. I live close to Colorado and see the games people play with "Medical Marijuana". Drugs are drugs and being a proud "toker" says alot about you. Will not spend anymore time on this subject.

Games? Hope you're not proud of that.

It's hard to take anyone serious when their avatar promotes the objectification of women and displays softcore porn...

Not to mention a drug that probably effects more people in this world which is alcohol.

If there was a question about his character based on his life's history, I'd say you might have a valid reason to think he might lie. People who know him much better than I would tell you that if Justin said he wasn't drinking, then he wasn't drinking, period.

I'm just saying who cares if he was or wasn't.
Its not bad character to lie about 1 or 2 beers, if he lied about raping a girl, selling/doing drugs, robbery something along those lines then it would be. Not about drinking a beer or 2. That's something high school kids lie to their parents about when they come home from parties.

You get pulled over in Texas and you are asked if you've had anything to drink and you say yes (5 hours earlier), you will be cited for DWI (automatic). It matters not if you are a drunk or a sunday school teacher or both.

Ok, whats your point? I said just because he said he didn't in an interview doesnt mean he didnt, he could have lied, and if he lied about having a beer it doesn't mean he has poor character or is even a bad guy. Got it or do i need to explain it differently?

So is lying a trait you find to be of good moral character?

Depends on what you lie about and how often you do it. To me this lie would be no different than telling your wife you didn't eat the last cookie when you really did. Thats if he is lying, which he may or may not be.

I think your trepid and antiquated response says a lot about you, sir. I could go in depth about all the drugs that are currently legal in the US, which are far more damaging to society and to people individually than my habit, but i'm sure youre intelligent enough to do that research yourself.

I never claimed to be proud to be stoned. In fact i'm not a daily stoner as you may imagine. It's just something I enjoy to relax (kind of like having a drink) and I am okay to admit it, as are the many millions of others who participate or have participated- a subset of people that includes our current president and other prominent people.

No, I think I've got it now. You think Justin is a Liar, and that he drinks and drives.

You realize you highlighted if and could have right?

I have already said i couldn't care less if he did or didn't, or is or isn't lying. BUt you are you using an article as a proof of fact when there is a possibility he told a white lie, to cover himself for all the NFL GMs, and will nitpick everything.

Also this has nothing to do with him being an OSU football player. Id say the same thing if it was anyone else, especially if I wasn't with that person the whole night.

There are only two choices. What others may think says more about them than it does Justin.
This was about calling a person's character into question. It was about comparing bad choices made by two football players and assigning weight to those choices.

I'm pretty sure I'm finished with this discussion, but you go ahead if you wish.

Busting out some dictionary words to try and prove you haven't killed too many brain cells, classic.

    BTW... *you're

Also, our current president is an idiot so looking to him as a moral compass is just stupid.

Ill give my last statement, but I dont see why you would think him lying about having a beer if he even did, would be a question to his character. To me this is no different than a parent lying to his/her kid about Santa.

Amen. If you wanna get worked up about something, focus on alcohol which is ridiculously more detrimental.

Hell, research just found that smoking a joint a day does nothing negative to your lungs (THC).

Sad most people don't realize their favorite athletes in all likelihood do it.

People are beyond ignorant about Mary Jane. In Colorado, It's very common here and it doesn't make a person good or bad.

Back on topic, both universities have their problems. Collins, Elliot ring a bell?
