That was Steve Ingham. He played around town in the 70s. He and Crazy Bobby were in a band together in the late 60s or very early 70s. Steve is one of the best guys you will ever meet. I wondered what they were going to let him play. I should have know it would be the Santana tune. He ain't no Coke Escovedo, but he has solid skills all the same. Hope to see him get some more time behind the set in the future, he was obviously having a good time.

I've never heard that many college kids be so happy for a cop to be there :) That was a lot of fun.

I didn't realize he was playing until I heard the solo start, and I was thinking, "man that sounds awesome today, who is that?". I looked down and saw him playing and couldn't believe it! Haha, that dude sounded LEGIT on the drums!

We've been calling him "Big Unit" for years ;)

Couldn't meet a nicer officer though. Super, super guy.

Thats my pops!!! I wish I had been there to see it. He's got some soul for a white boy!! He used to play with the Junior Raiders and the Harlem Riot. He had a pretty significant stay in the Las Vegas area and got to play with some pretty big stars. Those nicknames are hilarious! He sure loves that sweater vest! He is the Jim Tressell of law enforcement. Thanks for posting that pic, perfect for my desktop background!! I can tell you that at that moment he was truly happy.

You can't touch the sweater vest. There has to be more pics and video of him playing.

I Like him.....I had a sign back in the day that said "BoDICKker has a Short Horn"....he told me he had to take it because of ESPN...but that he completely agreed with my opinion and to hold it up to the crowd 1 more time before he took it.

The other side of the sign said Longhorns eat Poo...
