Thunder are new Western Conference small market dynasty ala old San Antonio Spurs.

Good to see Skip Bayless Approves of extension.

@RealSkipBayless Thunder signing Westbrook bad news. Wants to be bigger star than Durant. Gunner point guard. He, KD will clash. Hard to win title this way.

Assistant. R.C. Buford (former OSU player) was the team president for 5 years then became GM in 2002. Prior to that, Gregg Popovich was GM.

I thought he was too but looks like Minarets has it right. Didn't realize he is only 35. Was only 30 when they hired him as GM of the Sonics. That's crazy. Says he is credited with talking the San Antonio brass into drafting Tony Parker.

People who are saying that is too much for Russ are retarded. This makes our team lethal for the next 5 years.

Yeah, re-signing an NBA All-Star to your team (giving you 2) is a horrible horrible move. Damn you, Thunder organization! Damn you and your logical well thought out roster moves!

There is another thread just a few down that has JA Adande's article about why Westbrook won't work out here.

The KD Westbrook thing is blown so totally out of proportion it's ridiculous. They are both incredible players and both are intensely competitive. Westbrook struggles to control his temper at times but these guys are really close. Now, after this 5 year contract and a couple of World Championships I could see them part ways and Westbrook try to show the League he can be a one man show .
