After an embarrassing meltdown in the 4th quarter (a lead of 16 late), can our boys ACTUALLY bounce back and take a game? If we can win today, our hopes of winning the series turns to 50/50. Lost today, and I'm not sure our young guys are mature enough to push forward.

I'm hoping we actually can win today. My thought is if we are close late in the game, Memphis will expect us to falter. If we can just crash the paint and make shots, Memphis will start to push too much and start fouling.

King Thug will get his shots but we need to continue to fluster Gasol.

Oh and Dear James Harden, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, stay on OJ Mayo. Your defense was awful on both OJ and Conley.

Perkins: move your feet under the basket. You're playing as if you're ready to rent a yacht in the Gulf and entertain some filled bikinis.

KD: Keep taking those shots. You're our only hope Obi-wan.

Need Big games from Maynor, Harden, and Collison (he always give good effort).

Sefolosha is not fast enough to stop his guy so I hope we throw some 1-3-1 zone in there.

    Go Blue

TA and the Grizzles seem mentally tougher than the Thunder, the same as they did to the Spurs. They seem to have that little extra bit of "want to" where they grind it out for every advantage on every play late they can get. It just continues to wear down their opponents to the point that late in the game they just want to get back to the locker room.

Late KD couldn't shake TA. Everyone kept saying get the ball into KDs hands. I think they were trying but TA and others were denying everything and when they did get it into his hands TA was on him like glue! Everything was contested.

Like I have stated earlier. I would like to have seen these two in the Conference Championship game. But as it is I've got to pull for the OSU alum in this series. It's like watching a Sutton coached game.

If we can hit a jump shot or two in this next game that would be helpful as well.

    OKC - better overall talent
Memphis - playing better as a team right now and seem to have that 'underdog, never give up' mentality

Hopefully OKC can get some all heart grit, grind of their own tonight!

    Go OKC! & Go TA!

That's what it came down to is the clutch shots late.

The Grizzlies were getting some pressure on the Thunder late, created some turnovers and fast breaks which resulted in Thunder fouls and Grizz freeshots. Result- Game Grizzlies.

1,2 and 3 quarters the Thunder had fouled 19 times compared to 14 for the Grizzlies.

    4th Quater and OT.

    Thunder 11 fouls
    Grizzlies 3 fouls

    Result ?

Thunder scores 2 points in the 4th and OT from free throws.
Grizzlies score 12 points in the 4th and OT from free throws.

If we can pull this off tonight and come back home tied a 2-all, I'd say our hopes are better than 50/50, as we would regain home court advantage.

    LOLOLOL

I just don't think our team is ready mentally to compete in the next round, let alone, this one...

    Need more playmakers.

Yay for 6 turnovers so far with 3:10 left in 1st quarter

Not based on total career, just based on this year's playoffs: Which Gasol would you rather have on your team right now?

Yeah it really is amazing actually. I don’t know what happened to the Lakers this postseason but they were a shell of themselves that Dallas series. There had to be some behind the scenes stuff because they looked terrible in games 2 and 4. Especially 4.

Marc has really blossomed (unfortunately) before our eyes and is showing he will be a force for years to come. Memphis keeps these guys together and they might have something special in the making. Rudy Gay isn’t even playing!!

Apparently a Thunder player has to be tackled for a foul to be called.
