Well, which is it, though? Do you hate the president? Or you don't hate the president but hate his policies? Or does neither one describe your attitude?

He was describing a characteristic of your attitude, not calling you a name. It's not equivalent, just as I'm not calling you a name when I would describe you as someone who regards me as being nothing but a thick piece of human scum.

No name calling is me saying something like you are stupid(note I am not calling you stupid). Saying you are blinded by hate is not, It is just making an observation on your posts.

Man, who'd have thought a thread on a Canadian pipeline would trigger all this verbal bashing.

I think it is due to the fact that our briliant people in Washington managed to turn a business decision between two countries into a full fledged Left vs Right issue during an election year.

If you look at all the work already done on the project, the work that is announced to continue and the future work that is already being funded and planned....we will see that this project won't fail and will be a reality

The thing is actually being built as we speak so there is nothing really to worry about there, the only thing we are squabbling over on this thread is which party gets credit for making it happen.

It is such a huge impact on the economy and jobs in the US that neither party is willing to let the other guys take credit

The inference is there. You may choose to not see it. But that's okay. I'll stand down that you did not literally get into name calling with me.

That's because I don't buy it and neiither does anyone else who disagrees with the administration and who wants jobs created now. There is simply no good business reason for delaying a decision for another year.

What is interesting is that the Dept of State nor the administration has no authority over the pipeline except for the 50' where it crosses the international boundary.

I'm sure it does, to you. But you look for reasons to lash out at conservatives who are having problems with the administration and the direction the president is taking the country.

Do you like the job Obama is doing?

Military...I give him an A...scaling back troops and spending less money on wars at this time...while still maintaining pressure on terrorist around the world with many of the top terrorist leaders caputred or killed....A Nuke agreement with North Korea...Navy had a successful test fire of the Rail gun yesterday, a program Obama pulled some strings to save...that is only costing $250 million to increase our Naval ships range by 200+ miles when we were throwing the F35 $3+ billion per plane....he is doing a pretty good job

Economy..I give him a C...its pretty average if you look at it, was in the dumps, is slowly getting better...the biggest thing he is critized on is how quickly the economy recovers..and no president can control that..Markets are coming back, companies are hiring with the lowest unemployment since 2008, no threat of recession talks everywhere you look anymore, no threat of credit downgrades any longer etc.

Immigration...A+...he has started a great trend in deporting Illegal immigrants and removing criminal immigrants from the country. The crackdown on illegal immigrants under Obama is 9 fold of that of any previous President

Healthcare.....C...He took a shot at changing it..something no other president had the stones to do...It will be repealed and changed, however by passing his crap bill, it has forced the issue to make Washington change it and they can't stand by and do nothing about it anymore.....I would give him an F on it because ObamaCare is going to fail hard...but the fact that Obama Care is going to FORCE Washington to reform healthcare moves him up to a C...At least he got the ball rolling.....somthing the last 4-5 presidents have only been able to talk about in campaign speechs and never put into action

Environment.....F....I can't give him anything lower on my grading scale than that, but wish I could. Green jobs, Green Money, Etc etc etc will kill this country. This is the reason I will not vote for Obama in 2012

My overall grade a C....To me, Obama has been a pretty average president. He hasn't outshined anyone thats for sure and he hasn't "oops I the whole country" either

I would rank him right along with those other presidents such as John Tyler, Grover Cleveland, Calvin Coolidge, Rutherford B Hayes types of Presidents

Why in the hell doesn't the US just convert its vehicles to run on natural gas? Oh, that's right. Stupid azz lobbyists for Big Oil prevents that from happening.

Big Oil is one of the highest paying lobbyists in the United States. There are a lot of people that make serious profit from oil, and they don't want that to change.

The US alone has enough natural gas to sustain us for decades to come.

There is no law, the fact is lobbyists pay off government officials to keep natural gas from becoming our oil.
