Stupid about AGW!!

Quote is below. He was responding to her views on George Washington and her refusal to debate him over it on his show.

“George Washington was a genuinely great man. But to morons like Tammy Duckworth, Washington was just some old white guy who needs to be erased.”

“Duckworth is too afraid to defend her own statements on a cable-TV show. What a coward.”
Duckworth never said that Washington statues or legacy should be removed. Her only statement was that we should listen to the arguments on it.

and she didn't say listen to arguments actually. She said we should have a "National Dialogue on it"
Yes she did:

BASH: "That may be true, but George Washington, I don't think anybody would call him a traitor and there are moves by some to remove statues of him. Is that a good idea?“

DUCKWORTH: "I think we should listen to everybody. I think we should listen to the argument there, but remember that the president at Mount Rushmore was standing on ground that was stolen from Native Americans who had actually been given that land during a treaty."

The absolute last thing the left wants is to have a national dialog about anything. They aren’t interested in hearing your opinion. They only want to hear THEIR opinion coming out of your mouth.

Tucker Carlson who is a Ivy League trust fund baby called Tammy Duckworth a 'coward'. She lost her legs in combat while flying a Black Hawk Helicopter. Also continued to serve after that. She served along side her husband. Also her father was a Marine.

The fact his show of rallying against the 'Liberal Elite' is so popular just shows you how easy it is to distract the average American. He and the President are literally coastal elite from generations of wealth.
So the word coward had nothing to do about her military service, but was about her unwillingness to debate her political stance regarding her public statements.

You delivered great context. Bravo. Do you by chance work in the media?

We should NOT have a dialogue or listen to the argument.

That kinda ignorant shit should be dismissed out of hand and those people that want to make that argument should be told to STFU.

Geezus, I'm so sick of this shit.

Bullshit. 'Many many' is a complete crock of shit. There might be a few thousand, maybe, but I doubt it.

Read the report.

Fewer current members of the klan than people turned out for the Tulsa Trump rally, and we've been told ad nauseam how dismal the turnout was.

Again, nobody gives a fuk what David Duke says or thinks, and to keep trying to tie him to Trump is just as pathetic a move as I've ever witnessed. Stop it. You make yourself look like a complete fool and tool.

Ohh sadly that isn't true and there are many many many people who hang on his words

I'm gonna pick on you for a minute.

You and people like you are why Trump was elected. People are sick of this shit, and I don't mean a little bit. There are a dozen reasons to not like Trump. He's a pompous windbag, and he's a worse person. I wouldn't want to have a cup of coffee with the guy, ever, for any reason. I have no desire to watch his speeches except for the comedic value, but people like you that keep calling him a racist, and an anti-semite and try to tie him to the worst of his supporters, like Duke, is just beyond stupid. It's moronic. It's not ignorance, it's beyond stupidity.

There are dozens of reasons to not vote for him, none of which is greater than the revulsion caused by you and people like you when you do these things.

He called her a coward, grotesque, silly, a vandal, a fraud, and a moron as well. That is a complete attack on her character as a whole. He also said "these people hate America" when directly discussing her.

I don't think she is above criticism but to attack her in that manner is jut pathetic. Especially from a guy playing a character masquerading as "news"

Let me know when you stand up to the GOP saying that the looters and anarchists are the Democratic "base". Ted Cruz just said as much.

Both sides do the same thing. Point out the worst in the other and project that onto the entire side. If that offends you then you are too emotionally attached to one side. If you only see one side doing it then you are clearly biased.

I see both sides do it, but currently the left is the loudest squeaky wheel and they are getting all the coverage.

I don't believe for a minute the Dem base is represented by the likes of the squad. I do believe that the Dem base is represented by the likes of Pelosi, and her and Trump are the worst this country has to offer. They both turn my stomach.

I clearly lean right, so I am a little biased, but I'm sure as shit not fan of Trump, or Cruz for that matter.

I hadn't watch Tucker in a while, because he's just too smug for me. This thread inspired me to watch yesterday with an especially skeptical eye.

Much what he did was show clips of other talking heads and politicians. Sure he then goes on to explain to you what you just watched, and he's hand selecting stuff to prove his point but it wasn't fabricated. You don't want to look bad, don't say things in front of a camera that will bite you in the butt.

Then I click over to Rachel to see what she's up to. They both have a clear agenda but they both hold the other side accountable to some extent. You just have to adjust your BS meter when you watch these shows.

Below is the context for those that care:

“Senator Duckworth was asked if we should tear down statues of George Washington,” the Fox host said. “We played that for you last night and we noted how grotesque it was. Only someone who hates the country would suggest ripping down monuments to its founder.”

“George Washington was a genuinely great man. But to morons like Tammy Duckworth, Washington was just some old white guy who needs to be erased.”

“Yet Duckworth is too afraid to defend her own statements on a TV show, what a coward. Tammy Duckworth is also a fraud.”

“You’re not supposed to criticize Tammy Duckworth in any way because she once served in the military,” he added. “Most people just ignore her. But when Duckworth does speak in public, you’re reminded what a deeply silly and unimpressive person she is.”

“And when vandals like Tammy Duckworth and Ilhan Omar tell us that we’re not allowed to question their patriotism, even as they scream about how horrible America is, we have every right to laugh in their faces, and we should,” Mr. Carlson said.
