Looks like there are AT LEAST four new verbals for #okstate today.

My count is at 3 with Wilson, Grishby, and Allen. Any info on #4?

I hope its Mickens, Elston, Jacobs, or McNeil. Those are the four I want to round out our class.

I agree they would all be great gets and they still might commit. Mickens on 1/30 and Jacobs on 2/1 are the dates they are going to announce. Elston might be coming in next weekend. I got a strong feeling it was Seales that 'officially' committed.

Was anyone actually hoping we got another basketball commit? I was haha.

I am slightly underwhelmed by this class. I realize stars mean nothing and it will probably be a great class but does it seem like we have whiffed on most of our top targets? That said i would much rather bring in under the radar guys and win in the fall than bring in 5 and 4 stars and underperform like a&m and Texas as of late.

At the end of the day, if Texas wants one of our Texas commits, there isn't much we can do about. You can't blame the coaches.

Here is what one UH fan posted when word got out that OSU had offered Seales..

"We get a chance to see if he is a Jacoby Jones or a Patrick Edwards, i.e., is he dumb or smart. Does he choose Stillwater (the allergy capital of the world) and get to visit Manhattan, Kansas; Waco and Lubbock; or does he choose Houston, and visit Yankee Stadium, New York, Boston and Philadelphia. It is his call!"

UH fans are just priceless when it comes to their football talk. I have a few friends from home who are suddenly UH football fans and they always want to talk football, but having only payed attention for a year or two the things they say are comical and their arguments are even better.

The only thing of any value Houston ever did was beat us in 2009. They're worthless.

Is this quote about football? Which Big East Football teams play in Yankee Stadium? New York, Boston, or Philadelphia? We have a bowl tie-in with Yankee Stadium, but what else is there? The only remaining northeast football programs in the Big East are Rutgers and UConn. I don't get the quote at all. And more importantly, the parents of those players would probably prefer them playing in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, etc and not having to travel across the country for every game, including Idaho. The Big East project is not going to make it. I'd bet money on that.

Who would take that bet? It hasn't made anything out of itself yet. No reason adding lesser programs would change that.

Boy this thread is kind of getting blowen up? Now Seales may defect...how do the big boys get 4 and 5 stars kids from the get go and fill up about 80 % of their classes?? They might drop one or two but never like what I see happening to us this year ( we are like yo yo...UP, down sideways????) Guess you mess with 17 or 18 olds you get the yo yo action?).

I started the thread about Seales defection based on Brian Perroni (very reliable guy) tweet but it was proved that's not happening.
