    Big 12 Week 12

I made no prediction here so no delusion. I just said they'd help OSU's chances if they won... which they would help.

    Big 12 Week 12

Auburn, Georgia Tech, Stanford, and ECU winning this week would help OSU's playoff odds. Not all is needed but would help. Auburn removes a non-champ Bama threat giving them loss #2 before UGA GT knocking off UGA would make a non-champ UGA have a hard time getting in. Stanford knocking off ND...

    From a Bear

Go freaking Pokes! BEAT OU! Even if BU screws up against Tech and wasn't the title opponent don't give OU a shot at leaving with a trophy and if my team can't knock you off go win the whole thing!

Things we wanted to happen today...

Whether my Bears can get a W in the title or not... beat the ever loving snot out of OU. If you are leaving you don't need to even have a shot at the Big 12 trophy. Go freakin Pokes this week and in your bowl regardless of how a potential rematch goes. Would be hilarious if Cincy & OSU both...

Big 12 Realignment thread, 2021 version

Adding teams isn't the issue preventing you from leaving. A grant of rights is the primary issue. Add teams without a GOR. Solved.

Big 12 Realignment thread, 2021 version

There isn't a Texas politics play to make here... and it assumes they actually want KSU and not KU or a Texas school. I like KSU but they might have the worst prospects of the remaining 8 given recruiting ground, academics, KU sitting in the small market they have, and how well each TX school...

It depends. Where do enough teams go for it not to survive? Unless you think the other p5's move in (I doubt it) the remaining schools benefit more by raiding than leaving.

You'd probably maximize things by going back to 10, playing 7 or 8 games in-conference, splitting into 5 team divisions (Sun Belt does this), getting a title game, and also doing a scheduling alliance.

Big 12 Realignment thread, 2021 version

I think each fanbase has groups hoping/thinking that they have an invite to another P5 once the exit penalties are finalized and another group worried about what happens if it falls apart. I think that between the exit money and the fact that the Big 12 as an entity would be a more valuable...

Big 12 Realignment thread, 2021 version

I think you need to get back to ten just to have inventory, schedules, etc. That analysis was solid but remember that any game that wasn't nationally broadcast on a rated network (40% of AAC games and more in the MWC since CBS Sports Net isn't rated) was logged as a zero. Also don't ignore...

Big 12 Realignment thread, 2021 version

Question for OSU fans- All of the remaining eight would jump at an invite to any P5 but obviously would prefer to rebuild the Big 12 if no invite arrives. If the Big 12 had to rebuild and you could pick for OSU to be in a division with: Tech, BU, TCU (Basically like Big 12 south) Or ISU...

    Big 12 bowl games.

Agree here 1- The Alamo didn’t have to take what UT wanted into consideration. They simply pick who they want and whether the Texas bowl picked A&M or whoever really didn’t matter. They are two picks downstream. 2- The only team/conference who get to pick who goes to the Texas bowl is the SEC...
