Big 12 to meet to consider 6 new teams(PAC)

    Hundreds of millions.

Big 12 to meet to consider 6 new teams(PAC)

Other than the Chad Morris years I wouldn't say they've been pitiful. They've got a few 10+ win seasons mixed in with some losing seasons. We've definitely been more consistent and a big reason why is they have had 6 head coaches since Gundy has been here.

Big 12 to meet to consider 6 new teams(PAC)

They did a very lame half-time performance at the Fiesta Bowl that was full of typical Oklahoma stereotypes. The only thing I was offended by was how bad and unoriginal it really was...

Big 12 to meet to consider 6 new teams(PAC)

I think there is a scenario out there where enough ACC schools find suitable landing spots and they have enough votes to dissolve the conference. Obviously the BIG 10 and SEC are going to take the schools they want first, so ESPN, FOX and the BIG 12 would have to work together to make it happen...

I think it really shows the value Kansas actually has, which is funny considering how highly they think of themselves.

The Pac seems like it will be the first to crumble because their media deal is up first. We could start to see some movement there pretty soon, I think.

Big 12 to meet to consider 6 new teams(PAC)

I think it is about more than just the PAC... they're already toast. The Big 12 is going to be key to the Big 10 and SEC being able to get the ACC schools they want. Give enough of them landing spots and they can vote to dissolve and leave with no penalty. There will be some pretty decent ACC...

Big 12 to meet to consider 6 new teams(PAC)

The Big 10 commissioner just said having USC and UCLA means they can have games in the later time slot... so that is definitely going to make the PAC 10's most valuable asset a little less valuable.

    Pac 12 ESPN Offer

We don't really know what will happen, but we are fortunate in that our contract is up when CBS and NBC are going to be looking for more content. We lost two big brands, but didn't lose any of our footprint... The PAC lost the majority of their market with SC and UCLA leaving. We added to our...

Oregon, Stanford, Washington, Washington State, Colorado and Utah... The numbers are BS because he doesn't include the PAC 12 Network ratings for the PAC schools' averages. Since 2015 Washington State has averaged over 5 games on the PAC 12 Network every season... So the only games averaged in...

I don't blame Nebraska for looking out for their own interests, that's fine... However, they did enough damage during their time in the conference and for some reason people just forget about it. The irony is them voting against the very things they said caused them to leave the conference.

Big 12 to meet to consider 6 new teams(PAC)

Slight bit of revisionist history here. Nebraska voted for unequal revenue sharing until their program sucked and they were on national TV less than programs like OSU and Texas Tech. Then it was a problem for them because they weren't making as much money. Nebraska voted against a conference...

Didn't matter at the time, they still got to charge KC and St Louis in-state rates for the SEC network.

Big 12 to meet to consider 6 new teams(PAC)

Friday night games are a tough sell for the coaches, because they can't go watch games and then if you're the home team you lose a recruiting weekend centered around a home game... but if the money is right and you work something out that maybe you only play a home game on Friday every other...

Big 12 to meet to consider 6 new teams(PAC)

Yep, it would make sense for NBC to stipulate ND schedules a game or two every year against whichever conference they end up pairing them with. That would be big for the Big 12 for sure, especially since the usually only play OU or Texas if they played a Big 12 team.

I don't necessarily disagree, but you don't have to like the people you do business with. I just think having your tier 2 games on ESPN and/or FS1 is going to provide better visibility and money than having them on USA or whatever.

I'm not sure I would want all that much stuff on USA or Peacock, if I'm being honest. The smart play would be tier 1 on NBC, tier 2 on ESPN/FS1 and the tier 3 stuff on a streaming platform.

I think the way to do it would be an 11am(central) game and a 6:30-7 game before and after Notre Dame home games(3:30) and then on the weekends they're off or on the road you could do a triple header with all three slots or a doubleheader with the two best time slot options.

    TBP renovations?

The field will basically look the same, but with the updated brand(thicker bars under the O and over the U, solid orange outline around it) at midfield and updated athletics font for the yard numbers and Oklahoma State in the end zone. The orange is definitely brighter this time around though.
