He hit it into the water on his tee shot, then skulled the next shot over the green and into the bunker, then fell short of the green out of the bunker. They halted play before he could finish the hole. It was ugly to watch. Needs a miracle to get a double bogey.. was -3 going into the hole.

Looks like it did.. Rickie managed to birdie 2 holes after the triple at number 12 to right the ship.

Heard Dan Patrick talking about it earlier this morning & I forgot how far back it went (50 years?), but NOBODY has won the Masters with even one double bogey for decades.

Pretty amazing stat if you ask me.

Two other crazy stats: Tiger's lowest opening round at the Masters EVER (68) and Tiger's first round in a major without a bogey in 108 rounds.
