Any news on the new field...saw this one on twitter

Just because I liked this one I saw on twitter doesn't mean I like ALL of it...I also don't like the badge and think that should be the logo that we got too...I just thought it would be something interesting to discuss. What I do like abou tit is the endzones and the here comes bullet...in the west endzone specifically.

I think one of the items on the agenda was to shave off a couple of rows where it gets too tight in the corners.

I hope not. I've always thought that our tight sidelines were an advantage. I've heard opposing players say they hated the way it felt like our fans were right on top of them.

The rendering above looks very similar to our current layout. Hopefully not much will change.

Looks like if they did anything it would be down at the east endzone....which is where most of the visitors sit so I don't care much ha.

We don’t need any Cowboy Woody Walmart badge in the middle of the field. Right up there with flaming brand and stink-eye Pete. That is hideous. Just the brand will be fine. Do like the black end zones with Cowboys.

We know it won’t be the badge. School said it’s standardizing on the brand and phasing. A lot of other stuff out.

I love the idea of cursive Cowboys across midfield but if anything I think that lands in endzones.

I would bet they're just going to cut out a few rows in the east end zone to mirror what they did in the west end zone. We do need some extra room in the corners there... that does seem like the spot most of the collisions with the wall take place.

Let's hope that's the case.

Additionally, they've stated that they will add some steps/isles to some sections of the stadium that have too long of rows (some cases 50 seats across). That will cause some re-arranging of seats for some but provide much relief for "crawling over folks" to get out of a row.

Just so you know, I don't think this is decided at all, this was just an option someone posted...i like the one below maybe a bit better with some tweaks.
I don't like the Oklahoma outline on the field for one...but I do like the end zones...I also don't like the brand as depicted...but, One thing at a time.

I think Midfield should be possibly Cowboys script and the endzones should be the oklahoma state from the origional...I know we need to do logo too, but I'd rather maybe see the old-school one than the new brand. lots to think about right?
