I guess the upside of downsizing is...more potential Sellouts (minus those clubs seats that can't be sold for fire code reasons)
Sellouts create a reason to ....well you know
I swear you people just say that to get me riled up.

That's right I said "you people".

Didn't they rescind that code so it was no longer a violation?
I'm pretty sure that was a myth from the start. The story I heard is "they" underestimated how much time fans would spend inside the club. It was too many people inside and taking away from the experience people were paying more for.

To me that makes more sense than building a quarter billion dollar facility without finding out the fire codes first.

The ar

So, it says "most" in the 200 & 300 levels. Which sections were excluded? Also, I wonder if the chair-backs and cushions are going to be wider or just spaced from each other a bit further. If they are kept the same, then that will leave a significant gap between the seats. Even if seats are wider, sometimes folks get offset a bit as we shift around to get some shoulder room to fill the voids of empty seats. That gap can be a pain in the butt, literally.
Here are the sections that will have fewer, but wider seats in 2017:

On the south side: 101, 201, 202, 204, 207, 209, 210, 301, 302, 303, 304, 307, 308, 309, 310

On the north side: 117, 118, 119, 120, 224, 225, 226, 227, 331, 332

So apparently trainer made a comment the other day basically this: we are lowering the number of seats because we aren't able to sellout BPS and so this is nothing but an attempt by OSU to cover up that fact.

What trainer? This has sooner written all over it. They continue to make an issue (along with a few of our own) that we don't "sell out" even though we routinely have games with 95%+ capacity.

Anyone who has shared thigh sweat with a stranger at BPS can understand the need to adjust the width of the seats.

I'm sure he probly meant Traber or Traitor. Either way it's the same person.

F that fat bast***

He's just mad because he was always banging the table about how we were wasting money to expand. He claims he's not a Sooner homer but he gives their talking points pretty often.

If Traber said that he's being foolish. Though I will say this, if we were selling out every single game there is no way this happens. But it's not a cover up...that's just laughable. What's true is that more and more people are okay with just staying home and watching games on their 70 inch HD TV. So you combine the fact that we generally have 2K-4K open seats with the need to make the game day experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and this is the result.

Now...lets add that upper deck and REALLY make Traber look silly.

Ticket office told me that the seat backs would be new - nicer built and better cushions but not any wider than they were last year. so they'll just have some gap between seat backs instead of them jammed next to each other.

They just talked to some guy that's in charge of stadium stuff. He mentioned that another thing they are doing is moving ALL VISITORS over to the north side. So there are a bunch of people who will still be around the same people just moved down some. That's good.

Yes, as you can see on the new stadium map. All visitors will be on the north side (grey sections). I'm really hoping they move the visiting band higher up!
