A study based upon google searches.

Well done systematic reviews are valuable tools. I've done them. Right now you would have to use Google search because there is so much that is being published before peer-review via conventional vehicles.

That said, there isn't enough of this review published yet to see if that is well done. And what needs to be done is a meta-analysis.

Agreed. I thought about that after I posted this. My problem isn’t with the report, it is with the economic advisor to the president making such a big deal of it. There is nothing wrong with what they did. It is a good thing to analyze those reports and then hopefully take any worthwhile findings to the next level.

Is there some type of massive problem with the national reporting? Oklahoma active cases vs all cases is sitting at 14.65%, but nationally actives are 59.72% of the total.
From this website, I'm seeing:

US
2,528,641 (active cases) / 6,523,365 (total cases) = 38.76%
Oklahoma
9,661 (active cases) / 65,929 (total cases) = 14.65%

It's great to see a lower percentage of active cases locally.

I'm looking at the Oklahoma report. It just seems like a huge disparity. Especially with a lot of the country getting hit early that Oklahoma.

Have you seen how low her states covid rates are? And they didn't shut down so now the states tax revenues are back to where they were. CBS trying to sling mud at success.
Have you ever been to S. Dakota?? The have about 1 person per 20 square miles, they are automatically super social distanced. Having said that, I think I'll be heading up there to fish this weekend.

Any of your propaganda postings do you want to include the last part “as to not create panic”? We ran out of toilet paper as it was. And by the way, the left’s beloved Fauci just said that he didn’t believe Trump distorted anything about the virus in public vs what was said in task force meetings. Trump’s biggest mistake in all of this is talking to Woodward. Why oh why would you even give him the time of day?

You should probably keep to yourself when you get there. I don't know if I buy the "Sturgis is responsible for 250K cases." The reasoning behind it seems sound, but that is a huge number to consider. They just finished up their state fair though, and the weather was beautiful so that might be something to watch the next couple of weeks there.

I'll be in my boat in the middle of a lake, so I think I should be safe.

What lake?

I kinda figured as much. But it’s worth noting here that they aren't doing so hot right now.

Brookings passed a mask mandate last night and from what I read there were a lot of people upset about it, and that is a college town. I fear the states general attitude about this is going to catch up to them.
