i would expect McLean to play 3rd. We’ve tried Thompson at 3rd in the past and it was a fail. If he doesn’t get drafted, he’s likely the DH and plays 1st from time to time. Finding him a home on the diamond has been a chore

For those not tracking this Victor Mederos transfer it is huge news! He was the number 34 overall HS prospect last year and the number 59 overall prospect for the 2020 MLB draft. This is a huge get and he was a cornerstone of Miami’s number 1 class last year.
