Cowboy basketball is on a two win winning streak! Pokes will travel to Austin, Texas to face the #23 Texas Longhorns. This will mark the second meeting of the season against these two teams. Pokes won early January in Stillwater against the Longhorns.

Coverage will be on ESPN2 at 1PM. Go POKES beat the LONGHORNS

Need the win. Before the latest couple of victories, it sure seemed like finishing above .500 was not possible. Hopefully the momentum continues.. I really hope Boynton doesn't have to face the reality of a below .500 season.

Side note: Anyone know anything about any potential commits in the upcoming class of recruits? I see one commit.. his profile says that he is not a scorer..

I think we’re a good match up vs Texas.

Did we ever hear status on BWill’s ankle after the last game? I’m not sure if Rondel or Keylan would be the next man up in the starting line up

Marcus Carr (guard) [he played awful vs us the first time]
Andrew Jones (wing)

So pretty even scoring from each level.

Cryptic. I don’t think he plays. Next man up basketball. Perhaps Thompson will shine again like the Baylor game.

few interested in playing for OSU, most notably Anthony Black. A 5 star PG. Rated top 20 overall. His top two schools are Baylor and OSU. Many analysts suspect that he will end up here which would be amazing

Texas only shoots .328% from 3 but they do take 20 per game. That we close out so well on the perimeter and the team doesn’t have the most natural shooting talent bode well for us. If we keep the 3 point shots made just close, we should be able to get this done.

I wonder if Texass fans will actually show up today. I’ve read that their attendance has been weak. Did anyone else see what Tech fans did to the Texass ticket site?
