Ha, here is one of the convictions. Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen. One of his charges.

"one count of making an excessive campaign contribution at the request of a candidate (Trump) for the "principal purpose of influencing [the] election""

You will have to excuse me if I think an illegal campaign contribution conviction to cover up Trump sleeping with a porn star has "something to do" with Trump.

FYI, George Papadopoulos was convicted of lying to the FBI about contact with Russians. So your statement is false according to US courts.

Sounds like LDS to me. And I’m not talking Latter Day Saints.

This whole policy over personality is an attempt to ignore Trump’s distasteful methods. Basically, “The ends justify the means.” Every time I bring this up with a rational Trump supporter (there are some), they wince. They don’t like the phrase “ends justify the means,” but can’t give a solid argument for why that isn’t the case.

This argument is also an attempt to paint those who don’t support Trump as superficially hung up on Trump’s personality instead of paying attention to his policies. It’s a straw man argument. I have much deeper issues with Trump than simply his personality.

If you were in his shoes, would you even take it to a shop? Couldn't you find someone you could trust to repair it (surely he knows people who knows people) ha. Even if you did have a momentary lapse in judgement, would you just leave it there and not worry about getting it back?

I guess I am going off the emails with Ukraine. There is so much stuff being slung around I don't know which you are specifically speaking of.

No, I don't think Biden firing a prosecutor everyone agreed was corrupt to replace him with a different one everyone agreed was better is illegal. If that somehow got Hunter paid then there would be a conflict of interest but it all happened in Ukraine. US laws wouldn't be involved as long as Joe Biden was acting in the US's interest.

Kind of like Trump funneling PPP money to Kushner and Donald Jr. Except in that case these are US companies so US laws would apply.

Edit: Also know that 99% of elections in the past that conflict with Hunter would probably draw my attention and hold serious weight on my vote. In this case it doesn't really even move the scale.

i have a growing fear that the reason we hear of no ongoing investigations is that these federal officials are interested in keeping their jobs.
