"My thoughts are it's a perfect situation for me as a point guard because Coach Ford played point and he understands the point perspective. He played the game so he can relate and also he's bringing in new recruits like Marcus Smart and Le'Bryan Nash and I could play with them guys," he finished.

 :woot:

Seems like this guy is very high on us. It'd be really awesome to pull him in.

I kinda doubt Nash will be around when he is gonna be a freshman but perhaps he will. I would call it a longshot though.

Can somebody copy and paste the article for those of us who are not fortunate enough to have a Rivals account?

I'm not positive but I think it's against the rules. I will give ya a run down though.

Enjoyed watching us beat baylor. Thought the Gameday/Homecoming atmosphere was great. Thinks the facilities are the best there is. Hung out with Nash. Thinks the coaches will give him the Freedom to be the playmaker on the court. Thinks this style fits him perfectly.

Thank you very much!

Sounds like we nearly have him locked up?

I don't know, It all sounds extremely positive though. In light of his brother's issues at UK it sounds like he is going to be looking for an uptempo system that gives him the ball and tells him to go make it happen.

That's what I'm thinking. I am optimistic about this one. Three 5 star recruirs in a row would be absolutely terrific. I just hope Ford is working this recruiting magic cleanly (I'm not trying to start a big argument, I believe Ford runs a clean ship). But with facilities like we do, who has to cheat?

Yea, some ou fans on ouhoops.com were throwing around some cheating accusations a week or so ago. Just speculation on their part of course. Pierre has long been known to be a guy who works the grey areas hard, but to my knowledge he has never been looked at by the ncaa or been part of a program that got caught cheating. He was one hell of a pick up for Ford before he even coached a game here.
