I wish I could have read it, a pop up from OColly kept me from reading it. Said you get 3 free views, it was my first view and still didn't work :cursing:

I went to the same jr. high and high school as Jeff. I'm about 6 years older than he is, but my parents still live in Rowlett, for the time being. My dad is an alum and he's usually decked out in orange, everywhere he goes.

Jeff's mom works at Walmart in Rowlett and his OSU gear has caused my dad and Jeff's mom to strike up conversation just about every time they are both there. She is obviously very proud of him and loves OSU and talks about how it's changed his life for the good. She really liked Ford but I haven't gotten an update from pops on any Underwood conversation, but I'm assuming it's more of the same.

Elder wasn't at Coyle when I attended, but hell, that was 15 years ago lol.

Edit: On second thought, the more times I say "Coach Elder", it does ring a bell, but my memory sucks. That was way too many beers ago.

This article will surely increase the excitement even more after each great play by Jeff from now on. I look forward to seeing Elder on the court for Senior Night next season. Don't they have any specialists that Jeff could have gone to last year when the regular doctors could not diagnose his ailment?
How did Ford let that condition go on for as long as it did?

I blame Ford for a lot of things but this is pretty dumb to put on him. You think Ford was giving him the diagnosis and not letting him go to another doctor?

Where does the article say what types of doctors he saw? There are some issues that cannot be sorted in a short time no matter what doctor you see. You are placing blame without facts.

That is a well written article. Everyone will enjoy reading it. It will give you even another reason to root for Jeffery Carroll. And he's still a (redshirt) junior!!

Talk about a small world. I used to live in Rowlett and the same thing happened to me. I struck up a conversation one time at Walmart with his mother when she noticed my OSU shirt.

I also had a similar conversation with a man at 7-Eleven who said he was Jeffery's father. This article brought up stuff I didn't know (not that I should've), but I'm not sure if that was actually Mr. Elder or his bio dad that possibly moved down to TX.

Either way, excellent article and it's so great to see him having a career year.
