Saying, you freaking Okies drive me nuts. Grew up in OK in 70’s and 80’s. OSU in 87’. You freaks wouldn’t let people even have liquor by the drink until the later half of the 20th century.
1988. Busted. Bingo casino at Lake Thunderbird. Police said using the atm was proof enough I participated. Told me I’d go to jail next time.

1989. Got in trouble for driving over state lines for the purpose of a tattoo. I kid you not. Because they were illegal in Ok. I went to Kansas with fraternity brothers. Obviously got into trouble with their highway patrol and told I was never welcome again in Kansas.

1990. Busted. Bag of bud in my pocket. Told next time I’m going to jail.

1990. Also busted. Red Dog saloon. Girl had no pasties on and I’m the one that kicked out and told next time I could go to jail.

90-96. Several warnings about using higher alcohol beer to hold the liquor store open on cold days. ;)
My neighbors enjoyed buying cold” 6 point” right out the door.

97. Village police raid my friendly poker game in the garage.

2020
Full on gambling
Full on tattoos
Full on nudy bars
Full on weed
And now full on real cold beer?

Y’all just waited till I left and then the lights came on. Either that or once y’all saw me leave, you figured that’s left enough sin for the rest of you.

Unbelievable

I know, who'd of thought? Certainly not me.

Don't forget we have lottery tickets as well. People used to drive to Kansas for those. I'll bet Ark City hates that we have legal tattoos, 6 point beer and lottery.

This just in:

I found out today y’all don’t have annual car inspections or conceal permits anymore. What kind of f@%Kerry is going on over there?
Honestly I think we should have car inspections again. It was a nuisance to make sure everything worked and it was a nuisance to find a timing and a place and get one and pay the money, but it was worth it to not have some of these pieces of junk rolling around on the road that don't have blinkers and lights working and brake lights working etc.

Interesting. I was thinking that cars by now 20 years old or newer would be 95% of the cars out there. Safer. But also disposable. You’d think petty problems like that would be fixed. As I type this I realize most youngins probably wouldn’t lift a finger to maintain a light without being told to.

Maybe that’s what the red light cameras should be used for? Passive law enforcement on things like that.
